In a fated encounter, Denji meets a dog named Pochita; it turns out what he thought was a dog, was actually a devil. During Denji’s struggles to pay his father’s debt to the Yakuza, he got betrayed by the latter.

When Denji was on the brink of death, Pochita saved him and became one with him. Denji makes a comeback as a human devil hybrid with the unique power of changing his body parts into chainsaws. After that, the plot becomes even more interesting when he turns into a devil hunter in an organization filled with many other strange hunters like him.
