It turned out that Melanie’s special task force aka The Golden Gang was behind the robberies. Dr. Kevin Cozner is also known as “Professor Kevin” who has great interest in literature. He’s the love interest of Raymond Holt and they ended up together, as well, despite the hard times. Dr. Kevin Cozner is a reserved and calm individual who doesn’t show much emotions. However, when he’s together with Holt, he breaks down and expresses his love as well!

Gina Linetti is undoubtedly one of the BEST Brooklyn 99 characters of all time. She’s super savage and she works as an administrator or manager. Gina has been a childhood friend to Jake Parelta and their chemistry is really nice as well! Without Gina, Brooklyn 99 would have been less funny. At the moments where you would never expect her to appear, she would! So, yes! These things make her one of the best characters in the series!

Trudy Judy is the younger sister of Doug Judy who’s a perp known for stealing cars. Trudy Judy is a confident lady who cares a lot about her looks. She wants to fall in love but her protective brother comes in her way. Trudy Judy is smart, cute, and hot at the same time! She’s definitely one of the best characters in the series due to her sassy attitude!

Lieutenant Terry Jeffords or should I say the “gym-freak” Lieutenant. Yes! Terry Jeffords is actually a baby in the body of a giga chad. He’s a very ripped yet emotionally unstable type of person. He cares a lot about his family, especially her daughters. However, sometimes, they just make his life catastrophic. Overall, he’s one of the most useful people in the 99! He handles his work really well and likes to guide others too!
7. Charles Boyles
Charles Boyles is one of the besties of Jake Parelta who has an awkward personality. He says the most wrong things at the worst times. He has a peculiar taste in food and would eat things like “intestines” or “tongue”. YES! He’s a freak! Despite his taste in food, he’s one of the most normal characters in the series. Boyles often gets sad when Jake prioritizes someone else than him.
6. Amy Santiago
Amy Santiago is one of the most intelligent and best characters in Brooklyn 99. She’s a goofy yet reserved individual who takes her work very seriously. She wants to move forward in life and become a lieutenant. Amy has a competitive nature but so does Jake! Their chemistry and their competitions keep your blood pumping while you’re watching Brooklyn 99!

Detective Rosa is another BEST character in the series. She’s a badass detective who has known our main character (Jake Parelta) for a long time. She’s quite clever and tough, her not giving a damn attitude will win your hearts for sure! Detective Rosa likes wearing leather jackets and riding bikes, like a total punk!
4. Captain Ray Holt
Captain Raymond Holt is a stoic individual who leads the precinct 99. He is the type of person who takes his job really seriously. He hates people like Jake Peralta who joke around instead of doing their work.

Adrian Pimento was a detective at 99 and also the love interest of Detective Rosa. Both of them got along quite well due to their wild nature. Pimento is one of the most unintentionally funny characters in the series. Therefore, I just had to include him into the list of BEST Brooklyn 99 characters!

Jake Peralta is our main character who’s a smart detective. He’s one of the BEST characters in the series and it’s all due to him being active and making small challenges fun. He’s an extraverted person who loves interacting with others, especially the perps! Jake loves joking around while doing his job which makes him one of the best characters!
1. Doug Judy
Doug Judy is one of the perps in Brooklyn 99 who has stolen tons of cars. He considers Jake Peralta his bestie and always seems to get away from him after doing something wrong. However, the chemistry between this perp and Jake Peralta is out of this world! Doug Judy is a funny guy who loves joking around, singing, and stealing cars!
