If you’re asked about the top 5 god-tier manhwa, it’s impossible that Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint won’t cross your mind. Well, based on some fandoms, this belongs to a few webtoons that are worthy of having an anime adaptation– I believe it will surely take the spotlight.
It’s not just the unique plot, and the handsome MC that comes with it, but also the art and character development that highly emphasizes how amazing it is.
Thinking how unique and amazing this one is, you might think that there’s no other manhwa similar to this one. Well, I can agree. But for this list are some that show a bit resemblance to the manhwa: Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.
Manhwas Similar to Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint

Based on its title, we can already come up with some things that talk a lot about this next manhwa.
The story begins when: despite having it all, Kim Su Hyun ends up losing everything. After receiving an almighty gift, the “Zero Code,” in that unjust universe, he sets out on a journey going to the past. Can he restore what he’s lost now that it’s been 10 years?
I swear I didn’t force this on the list because of the two main characters’ names.
While the characters in this Korean comic are quite similar, the universe they live in is also governed by the same set of laws.
30. A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 12/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 32/50 |
This next manhwa is somehow related to Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, It talks about our reality being overwritten by the Shadow World. Rifts are forming and growing in number. Magicians are the only ones capable of repairing the rifts.
Since then, there have been many tragedies. There were a slew of magicians sent to help clear the area. Only six people survived after a decade of hell. Desir Arman was one of these individuals. The dragon-like wall next to them was the final one.
The party was decimated by its overwhelming might. Desir felt this was the end, and it was. However, as he opened his eyes, he found himself back at the Academy’s admission test. A second opportunity had been handed to him. Everyone he lost is still alive, and he intends to make sure that they remain so.
The mage that can only cast one circle spell is at the top of the class, clearing rifts after rifts, thanks to his mind. They each want to rescue their planet from being overrun by another.
29. Trapped in a Web Novel as a Good-for-Nothing
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 12/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 32/50 |
This next manhwa is mainly about Yoo-Sung Choi who had just completed reading a book. To his surprise, he woke up in the form of the story’s antagonist.
The sooner he gets helped, the sooner he will die of natural causes. The best course of action is to reduce the villain to the status of a background figure who can be ignored. At this point in the narrative, he has already committed a significant blunder by the time of the body’s original owner. In order to protect his own safety, he devised a plan of action.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and Trapped in a Web Novel as a Good-for-Nothing are very similar in terms of tone and style. Most difficult to discern are the subtle variances.
There is no resemblance between the MCs’ personalities. While Kim Dokja desires to be the hero in his narrative, Yoo wishes to stay unnoticed in this book so that he may have a tranquil life.
28. Leveling With The Gods
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 13/20 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 6/10 | 33/50 |
Based on its title, you may have some context about the stuff that took place in this next manhwa.
The story revolves around Kim Yu Won, the strongest warrior standing atop the Tower and an unbeatable combatant. He has always been undefeated—well that until his time has come.
Fortunately, he was given a second opportunity just right before his final breath. However, there was a condition, in order to travel to the past and try again, a sacrifice is required—a life for a life.
He agreed without hesitation.
27. Otherworldly Sword King’s Survival Records
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 13/20 | 7/10 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 33/50 |
Next on our list is an adventure and action manhwa that revolves around Ryu Han Bin, the main character of Otherworldly Sword King’s Survival Records.
Ryu Han Bin fends for himself in a new world with just a sword as well as the greatest degree of expertise possible. As a result, the person who has always come in last is the protagonist of this manhwa.
Ryu and Kim went from zero to hero in their own stories, stealing the limelight from the true heroes. Is it possible for them to improve? Yeah it could be possible, but it is also possible that they’ll wreak havoc on everyone.
26. Doom Breaker

| 13/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 33/50 |
Well, I know you’ll like this one. I’m not sure about it, but personally, this next manhwa caught my attention a lot.
Zephyr is the lone living human on a post-apocalyptic planet that has been overrun by the Demon Lord. He’s facing up against the final boss, who’s much too powerful for him. At least he was able to embarrass him.
To get his revenge, the arrogant Lord bribed the Gods into sending his spirit back to the past so he could face his opponent once again. Sore losers, these boys.
With all the wisdom and experience he’d accumulated through time, he found himself in a 20-year-old body. This time, he will make sure that he takes the Demon’s head, rather than just his arm. This is the biggest mistake he’s ever made—a mistake that’s worth his life! The hero spoke forward, sure of himself.
25. The Skeleton Soldier Couldn’t Protect the Dungeon
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 13/20 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 34/50 |
This next manhwa I present to you is very interesting. Well, you could have any idea based on the title, but, I can tell you a lot more!
The story began with our MC having just one job: to keep his Sensei safe. He had a simple plan, but it didn’t work out. He stood there and watched her die, helpless.
In spite of this, he was given a second opportunity by the gods. Travel back in time and complete his job every time around. Because he knows what’s coming, he must not fail again.
His situation is so much like Kim Dokja who is also working to alter his own fate.
24. The S-Classes That I Raised
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 13/20 | 6/10 | 8/10 | 7/10 | 34/50 |
This next manhwa is one my personally recommended manhwa if you happen to like Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. The story began with Han Yoojin, an F-Class hunter, the lowest-ranked hunter. Because Han Yoo Hyun is so talented, his brother is frequently compared to him.
The ruin of his brothers’ world was the driving force behind his decision to go ahead. In his mind, he desired that he should be in the same state of misery. For the first time, he recognized how much time and energy he had squandered in the pursuit of small grievances. I think it’s better to be late than never. However, luck was on his side, as he regressed and travelled back five years.
Instead of making the same mistakes over and over again, he resolved to become his younger brother’s God instead. Nope, he didn’t learn anything.
23. The Blade of Evolution: Walking Alone in the Dungeon
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 13/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 8/10 | 34/50 |
This next manhwa is something worth reading. Well, this could be not-so popular as other manhwas, but I know this is something you should read.
This story is about a man’s healing power that was reawakened, but it was a dud. All except him got slain during an operation inside an underground cave with his crew. The pirate “last priest,” who was freed because of them, was to blame for this.
He found a sword inside this dungeon and used it to enhance his abilities. What chance does he have against all of it by himself? Well, I think you should start reading it to know everything about it.
22. Return of the 8th Class Magician
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 14/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 34/50 |
If you’re into magic stuff, this next manhwa is one of my most recommended! This story began with the only 8th-class magician to have ever been documented, and that’s Ian. If he wanted to, he could devastate a whole nation on his own. He linked up with the Empire’s 5th Prince and presented him with the throne. His actions on behalf of his master included deceiving, abusing, manipulating, and even killing others. In the end, though, Ian just proved to be too much of a wild card.
The fact that he was the only friend the Prince had was enough to make him someone to be scared of. It was clear to him that he was nothing but a monster, and he had to be destroyed. His last act was to kill that great wizard by putting him in a position of vulnerability. Does killing the world’s most powerful entity require such a little amount of effort? Not at all! An ancient ritual was ignited by Ian and he travelled to the past to get his retribution.
In this case, the 5th Prince will lose everything yet he retains everything he’s lost by his side. How fortuitous that the sorcery he wields is so chillingly effective at exacting revenge.
In spite of their immense power, Ian and Kim Dokja avoid using it to solve all of their problems and instead depend on strategies and smart ideas.
21. Viral Hit
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 14/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 8/10 | 35/50 |
This next manhwa is one of those manhwas I like personally. It took place during the high school years, Yoo Hobin is a constant source of humiliation and harassment because of his classmate and prominent Newtube streamer Pakgo.
After school, Hobin works as a part-time employee to help support his mother’s medical expenses. Hobin unintentionally splashes ramen down into Pakgo’s cameraman “Jiksae,” stumbling over a wire and cutting the other kid from his gaming feed. Hobin finally becomes frustrated with his life of misery and decides to take matters into his own hands.
As soon as Jiksae woke up, it was found that a live stream camera had been documenting the altercation between the two lads. More than that, the video had gone viral on social media overnight after being unintentionally published to Newtube and garnering 10 million won in revenue for Hobin.
He is motivated to see how far he and his mother can go with the money that Newtube streaming can provide them, so Hobin joins forces with an unusual friend, in Jiksae, to film more videos of them fighting. Take on Pakgo and others, apparently insurmountable adversaries, and Hobin would either rise or fall as a streamer’s greatest challenger.
20. Trash of the Count’s Family
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 14/20 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 35/50 |
This next manhwa has almost the exact same plot as Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint where the MCs are transmigrated to a novel.
The art is the most significant distinction between the two. The integrated artstyle in this manhwa is just plain outstanding! The visuals are breathtaking. It’s a sight to see, and that’s for sure.
19. Solo Login
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 15/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 35/50 |
Well, the story of this next manhwa began when Jung Si-woo never had at least a companion. He was never able to cultivate any social networks. The issue is that he is boring to the point of being uninteresting. In fact, it is not an exaggeration to say so. Even the most commonplace individuals found him uninspiring.
Sky Castles emerged out of the thin air and altered everything for him. It was the strange floating palace that granted the chosen one wings and magic.
Si-woo wasn’t one among the chosen ones, despite what you may have imagined. In addition to that, he was handed something even more special. The title of “most boring person on the planet” may now be reclaimed.
Kim Dokja has always thought of himself as a “reader,” someone who is privy to the adventures of others. Before they were gifted powers beyond their wildest dreams, Si-Woo and he were both lone bystanders. We are now the ones who are enthused and engrossed to read about them.
18. Max Level Returner

The next manhwa on our list is somehow based on a game. Well, if you are into VR games that much, this next manhwa is one of the best recommendations so far.
When 120 million gamers of a famous game, Eternal World, mysteriously left without a single trace, the world is thrown into chaos. After a few months, they began to reappear after having died throughout the game. If I were there, I might be annoyed to the point that I’d stop, but fortunately, I am not there!
However, they aren’t the only people who have made it back to Earth; monsters have also begun to materialize and wreak devastation on the planet. Until the reappearance of the Masked Monarch, one of the most overpowered players in the Eternal World, all hope seems to be gone. But, you’re just reading, so your hopes are still there!
It doesn’t take long for him to rally his former teammates and fight the creatures and the evil Demon King. However, the weapons they made are ineffective against the adversaries they must face, and players are finding it difficult to progress through the game without the aid of special equipment or awards. It is possible that the Masked Monarch possesses some hidden abilities, but do you think they’ll be successful in rescuing the world?
17. I Woke Up as the Villain
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 15/20 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 36/50 |
Next on our list is this manhwa. This may not be familiar to most of you, but trust me, this manhwa is worth your time.
The story began when the main character is condemned to be exploited as a tool of manipulation and eventual murder by the villain. Incorporating into the opulent Haesung, his family loathed, and vulnerable to violent outbursts. Well, this one really bothers me a lot.
He might escape the same fate as his father, the new Yuseong devises a plan to become a member of the Awakened, a group of individuals who have been gifted with amazing talents. His ascension through the ranks will require him to battle and defeat monsters from other worlds, as well as his own personal enemies, in his quest to intensify and progress in rank.
16. The Second Coming of Gluttony
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 15/20 | 8/10 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 36/50 |
You could have the idea what happened, right? To begin, there’s a drug addict character, a total loser, and a slime on our hands. Given the fact that he’s the worst type of human being, he was given a unique ability. He will be able to reach the Lost Paradise with this ability.
How could this world really be cruel? He even had a concubine of his own.
That’s another Kim Dokja for you: from a worthless loser to a powerful person with a special talent.
15. Tomb Raider King
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 15/20 | 6/10 | 8/10 | 7/10 | 36/50 |
Well, you might have heard the title of this next manhwa, but I can tell you about this one more time! Well, it began when tombs all around the world began to rise. You’ll get the relic grading and its immense power if you succeed in clearing one of them. There was no better employment than that of a Tomb Raider. The idea of robbing all the graves and making off with their treasures seems simple, but it’s not. That lesson was learned in a complicated way by Seo Joo-Heon.
As he stood there and watched, his whole crew was slaughtered and consumed by the enemy. His leg had been amputated, so he was unable to get away. A bird, or rather a piece of relic, materialized next to him at this point in time.
He had a decision to make. Either he dies now or he travels back to the past to fulfill a request from one of the relics. Later, we’ll disclose what this request is. Seo traveled across time to a period before the Tombs appeared because he couldn’t imagine someone in their right mind willingly choosing to die. He is plundering everything in his path so now he realizes where they will emerge as well as which few are worth the risks.
The Tomb Raider King, owner of the world’s most valuable artifacts and legendary locations. You selfish dummy, spare a bit for the rest of us!Seo reached success by utilizing his wits to conquer any obstacle that arose in front of him. In the same way that Kim exploited his understanding of this new environment to take the lead role from the protagonist.
14. FFF-Class Trashero
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 15/20 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 36/50 |
The world was transformed into a virtual reality game. Monsters are swarming the landscape, and humans really are the ones who must take on the role of completing tasks.
It was the end of the road for the actual thrill of mankind. As a result, they were unable to surmount the obstacles. However, one player was granted the opportunity to alter the course of history.
He was transported back to the past without losing any of his memories. Kim Sehan is the name of this player.
What is it about manhwas why the MC is always named Kim? Apart from the name, there also exists a game-like universe and an MC that can predict the future. Isn’t it similar to the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint? I can say it is a lot similar.
13. The Legend of the Northern Blade
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 16/20 | 6/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 | 36/50 |
This next manhwa on our list is a kind of manhwa that is being rated high because of some reasons. Well, you’ll know soon why.
The story of this manhwa talks about when the Silent Night’s demonic minions, the Northern Heavenly Sect, battled valiantly to protect the earth for decades. He is compelled to dismantle the group and take his own life to ensure his safety, Moowon, who is suspected of conspiring with the enemy.
Moowon has no family or friends left, so he lives a bleak existence under constant observation; until the Silent Night attacks and he is given the opportunity to flee to the mountains.
While there, the aspiring warrior learns how to fight like his forefathers until the strange abduction of a loved one draws him back to port and returns to the mainland training. Avenge the murder of his father and bring down the monsters who attempt to plunge the planet into a state of total darkness!

This next manhwa is very familiar to most manhwa readers. The story began when Park Hyungsuk lived at the lower part of their food chain for his whole 17-year existence. When he was a kid, he was ridiculed by his peers for being short, overweight, and ugly because of it.
For the sake of escaping Lee Tae Sung’s wrath, he transfers to a vocational preparation school known for its liberal curriculum and carefree pupils, JaeWon High School in Seoul.
In the last days preceding his relocation, Hyung Suk gets up to discover that he’s no longer the overweight man he usually is. Hyung Suk became the perfect version of himself, tall, gorgeous, and perfectly toned. But there’s a catch: his original body is still lying next to him, and he woke up in the other when fell asleep.
In addition to adjusting to his new, considerably highly popular lifestyle at J High, Hyung Suk must figure out how he got his second, practically superhuman body and how to use it.

The story of this next manhwa began when Yeon-twin woo’s brother died. He vanished when he ascended “Obelisk,” the Tower of the Sun God. He obtains his brother’s journal after five years of waiting for it to come to him. In his brother’s journal, it was discovered that he had been betrayed and slain by someone.
In order to capture the killer’s sight, Yeon-woo is trying to scale the Tower’s spiral staircase, armed with a logbook that describes every level.
He assumed his brother’s identity and embarked on a vengeance campaign under the alias of Jeong-woo Cha.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint with such a twist in this Korean Webtoon. Yeon was reading his brother’s journal while Kin Dokja was reading “Ways of Survival.” Both characters are well aware of what is about to transpire, and they are behaving in accordance with that knowledge.
9. Villains Are Destined to Die

| 16/20 | 8/10 | 8/10 | 7/10 | 39/50 |
It’s quite bothersome how a title really tells a lot about the story. As the Hero destined to fight the Demon King, Han Soo has been sent to a fantastical realm. Ten years of grueling adventures, unique weapons and gaining experience finally paid off as he defeated the final monster.
He may return to his native planet now that his task has been completed. In fact, when he got to his feet to see who was there before him, this was the God of such a dream realm, not his family.
It was Kang Han Soo’s goal to eliminate all potential snags in his path before taking on the Demon King. His character score was an F, as well as the game was restarted as a result. Now, honestly, couldn’t they have informed him that there were preconditions to be met before he could slay the monster? The game master is a jerk.
Kang Han Soo, like Kim Dokja, has an unappealing personality.

Playing games is a hobby for Jinhyuk. He’s someone who could complete the “Tower of Trials” game successfully. So, who do ya think will make it through the game’s metamorphosis into the real world?
Is there some kind of distinction between a game and a novel? Well, you can learn that by reading this manhwa.
7. Noblesse

| 17/20 | 8/10 | 8/10 | 7/10 | 40/50 |
This next manhwa is one of the best manhwas to ever exist. Well, similar to how Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint has multiple epic action scenes on it.
The story of this manhwa revolves around Rai, who appears from a white casket in a deserted building somewhere in South Korea. He is an incredibly attractive, dignified, and honorable guy. As he struggles to get his bearings in this strange new world, Rai turns to his old buddy Frankenstein for guidance. I also want to have guidance on Frankenstein. How about you? I think it could be amazing.
Well, you can somehow see its plot and genre resemblance to the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.
6. Your Talent Is Mine

| 18/20 | 8/10 | 8/10 | 7/10 | 41/50 |
This next manhwa I think is one of your soon-to-be best manhwa. I am not saying that this will surely be, but I know that this will have a high impact on you. The story began when Ye Tian first began cultivating, he was the weakest of the group. But he has a flair for mimicking other people’s work. When he touches someone or anything, he may absorb that person or object’s degree of competence and expertise at the cost of terrible suffering.
Kim Dokja has the ability to mimic and make use of the powers of the novel’s characters by breaking the fourth wall.
For you, it’s a huge swindle!
5. Kill The Hero
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 20/20 | 8/10 | 8/10 | 8/10 | 44/50 |
For the next manhwa on this list, this is the one of the most recommended manhwa if you’re really looking for manhwa with similarities to Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. Well, I can’t tell you everything about it, but reading this one will give you clear ideas on why Kill The Hero resembles Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.
The story begins with some folks that woke up one day and decided to become hunters. As a result of the emergence of dungeons, the world had become completely disorganized. With his courage, sense of justice, and strength, he stood out among the other hunters.
No, it wasn’t him, wasn’t it? That isn’t it, then. Kim Woo-Jin was scouted by the Hero, who then enlisted him as bait. The Hero disclosed his terrible plot to him as he lay dying. He’s on a mission to take over the planet and make it his.
When he realized Kim had been brought back to the past, he should’ve just kept his lips shut. Now, who do you think will be the next hero of humanity? That one is a foregone conclusion. Kim Woo-Jin and Dokja are the new protagonists of their separate storylines.
4. SSS Class Revival Hunter

Would you get to be an S-Class? That’s OK with me! You’ll die before you can go to heaven. Isn’t that cost already small enough to pay for all the power we get?
But how can the MC utilize it if he’s already… dead?
The Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, like this one, focuses heavily on the story’s actions.
3. Regressor Instructional Manual
| Similarity | Character Writing |
Plot | Art | Total |
| 19/20 | 9/10 | 8/10 | 8/10 | 45/50 |
This could be a familiar manhwa to some, but I know there are still who have no idea what this next manhwa is all about. This began when all of Earth’s inhabitants, including the MC, were taken to a fantastical game-like environment. The MC encounters a Regressor and decides to use him as a pawn in order to get out of the situation.
This man seems to be an innocuous weak sheep on the surface but within, he is actually an evil demon who will manipulate everyone to accomplish his ambitions.
My first thought was, “Wow, that’s Kim Dokja.”
2. Dungeon Reset

We’re almost there. So for our next manhwa, it emphasized the Resetting Dungeons that are fought again and over again by players. There is, however, a lot more to a tale than catches the eye!
As you read and savor the experience, you’ll undoubtedly notice some parallels to Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.
1. Solo Leveling

You might be wondering why this manhwa is top of my list. Well, I can’t give you a description about it but I know that you’ll love this one the same way you loved Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.
This next manhwa is a tale of Sung Jinwoo. You could’ve read this already, but for those who haven’t yet, this is highly recommended. This story is the most widely read manhwa right now, for sure this won’t bore you like your history class.
Both of our crafty protagonists even have a striking resemblance to one another.
Final Notes
Hello guys! Reading this part, I can assume that you’ve read the recommendations I have above. Well, I am not sure if I missed something to add on this list, but I know that everything I have here for you is really worth your reading-time.
