Do you guys love “horror stuff”. Do you also dream of having your own demons? Okay, that was dark. However, we surely LOVE demon kings, and MCs possessed by demons, don’t we? The plot of this series revolves around animals rotting after a single night in a remote mountain village. That surely sounds creepy, right? However, an investigator from Tokyo who has specialized in the occult field comes to save the day. Inugami is the investigator that we’re talking about here. He’s a very calm person for being an investigator. I mean, we see investigators panicking and stuff but he’s nowhere that kind of person. 

Inugami, being in that village, befriends a guy who doesn’t go to school and rather works in the field. I hate to break it to you but this boy isn’t a human. His friends called him “Dorotabu”. So, yes, this boy is possessed by a demon. What could the goal of that boy who’s skipping school be? Are you curious yet? To find out more about this boy, watch Kemono Jihen.

This is a really creepy story. Get your flashlights if you’re sitting in the dark. This story is set in the 19th century. It tells us about the secret organization named Black Order. Their basic motive is to combat a man who summons the souls of the dead and utilizes them for his weapons known as “Akuma”. This man is known as Millenium Earl and his demonic Akuma powers are no joke! His main goal is to destroy humanity! Will the secret organization let him achieve his goals? Or will they be able to save humanity from such a dangerous guy? 

 

14. The Demon Girl Next Door

You must be thinking about WOW! The Demon Girl Next Door? However, this anime is full of slice of life, some comedy, and a world full of magic. It’s not your average dark anime with demonic girls screaming or anything. 

The story revolves around an average high schooler girl named Yuuko Yoshida. She wakes up with demonic horns and a tail too after having a mysterious dream. If you grew demonic horns will you go like “Kawai” or “Kowai”? When she gets scared and confused by such a situation, she goes to her mother. Her mother tells her a family secret about the demonic powers. 

 

13. Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer is definitely one of the most popular, great, and interesting anime of all time. As you can see the name of the anime is Demon Slayer. It means that there’s a group of crackheads that live together and work together as a Demon Slayer Corps to vanish all the bad demons out there. 

However, what I just told you is the bright side. You know Tanjiro Kamado is possessed by a demon. YES! Our MC is possessed by a demon. So, if you’re curious to find out what this demon does to him, you must watch Demon Slayer. (I doubt you haven’t watched this OP Series)

The demon king in this anime is OVERPOWERED. Anos Voldigoad is a powerful demon king who reincarnates into another world and is provided with some cool powers! He’s so overpowered that his powers are off the charts. 

Not only that, he’s also possessed by a demon who shows up during intense moments. He enrolls into a Demon King Academy and battles against many other powerful people. That’s about our MC. If you want to know more about him, watch The Misfit of Demon King Academy. 

 

11. Radiant

There’s a conflict between sorcerers and humanity in this world. Our MC is a fifteen years old boy named Seth. He defeats nemesis. You must be wondering what the hell is nemesis? Their plural form is called Nemeses. They’re basically the powerful and mysterious race of demons. They come out of eggs that are spawned from the sky. 

To destroy Nemeses, our MC has to go to the main core where these all nemeses belong. That place is called Radiant. Will he be able to destroy these eggs and nemeses?

Hellsing Ultimate, ahh good old days. I can literally beg all of you to watch this masterpiece. It somehow relates to castlevania but it’s way darker. There’s a vampire called Alucard who wants to protect England from a war-crazed Major who in return wants to start a war with his vampire army. If you’re into vampires, thrilling stories, I’m sure you’re gonna love this anime!

Alucard is definitely one of the most powerful characters in the anime. His power comes from the people he had been consuming all this time. Therefore, he has to consume some real powerful people, if he wants to become the STRONGEST! 

 

9. Seven Deadly Sins

 Now we’re talking, aren’t we? We all know Seven Deadly Sins because of its short MC, Meliodas. HAH! Just kidding. Meliodas is an OVERPOWERED character who’s small but he’s possessed by a poweruful demon. This guy keeps on becoming overpowered as the story proceeds. 

Let me tell you a bit about its plot. So, Seven Deadly Sins is basically a band of knights in the land of Britannia. This band disbanded ten years earlier after being framed. They have to step up and fight for themselves now. What do you think will happen next? 

 

8. Noblesse

Noblesse is a popular manhwa series and it got famous after turning into an anime too. There are so many handsome guys in this anime. So, if you’re into handsome guys, you must watch Noblesse. 

The story of this anime revolves around an overpowered guy named Cadis Etrama Di Raizel who has been sleeping for 820 years. Obviously, he has been sleeping for a long time. That’s why he isn’t familiar with scientific advancement, and technical successes. The story of this anime revolves around everyday adventures of these vampires. 

 

7. Blue Exorcist

This anime tends to get a bit dark at times since the main character and his brother are the sons of the Devil. For some reason, they don’t like their father and they decide to become exorcists to gain strength and destroy his father. WOOH! Will our demon-possessed boy, Rin Okumura be able to do that? I mean, he was transferred to Constant Magick Academy. He wanted to become the high priest. However, he didn’t know that he was going to become the next demon king. After finding that out, he was genuinely scared because it was going to be rough and challenging. It’s true that all the successful people went through difficult challenges to reach where they are right now. Our boy is surely possessed by a demon, no wonder, he’s gonna be the next demon KING!
