Kurapika – April 4th
Kurapika is one of the supporting characters in Hunter X Hunter who helped a lot at times. He is definitely one of the coolest characters in the series. Along with his coolness, his intellect is worth-appreciating. His mind tends to work real smooth in intense situations. Kurapika within the series, helped everyone and was very friendly too.
He’s really kind and affectionate towards his friends. He surely gives those healthy, loving vibes. However, his ultimate goal is to catch a band of thieves who destroyed his family. We all know that everyone in the world of Hunter X Hunter is after something. Sounds interesting, right?
After becoming a hunter, Kurapika becomes dark. And by dark I mean, he takes on a self-destructive path where he lets his anger lead him. His anger makes him do a lot of villainous acts. Unless he’s surrounded by his friends, he can hurt himself greatly. Therefore, he needs to stay with his nakama to stay the same. As a child, Kurapika was the same as Gon. He used to be very excited about going on different adventures and also had an impulsive nature.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Gon Freecss – May 5th
Gon Freecss is the main character of Hunter X Hunter. Yeah, you might be thinking “Oh no! He’s a small guy, how can he hunt?” But trust me, this character will make you fall in love with Hunter X Hunter and him too. Let’s talk about Gon’s personality now.
Gon is the son of Ging Freecss who was abandoned at a very young age. Gon became self-sufficient and figured out paths for himself. If we talk about his personality, he’s a very friendly guy who gets along with everyone. YES! Just like every main character. But there’s something really different about him and that is “never giving up nature”. Gon tends to stick to situations and look for solutions instead of just giving up.
He’s quite physically fit too, his athletic nature makes him strong and sturdy. Since he spent a lot of time in the woods in his childhood, he is quite good with animals. Gon is mostly known for his determination. He isn’t scared to choose a path that is different from everyone. Because of his impulsive nature and temper, he sometimes fails to think about things thoroughly which might hurt him. That’s the only flaw our boy has.
Gon is a cool-headed person who isn’t afraid to go through different adventures. The nature of Gon is similar to water. He can adjust anywhere. By anywhere, I mean ANYWHERE. This ability of our boy is really unique. We all know how there are people who can’t handle change that well, right? So, Gon is different from us all. Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Hisoka Morow – June 6th
Hisoka Morow is one of the main antagonists in the series. He’s a hunter who belongs to the Phantom Troupe. In fact, this character is one of the most popular anime characters in the world. I doubt anyone out there who’s an otaku doesn’t know Hisoka. He’s the type of guy who loves fighting those who are way stronger than him. He lives to “feel the moment”. Hisoka is very flamboyant and he just doesn’t regret his decisions.
He’s portrayed as a very selfish guy. Kinda narcissistic? Yes! He does whatever he wants, he likes to please himself. Hisoka is also known to be a sadomasochistic guy. Despite being super strong, he gets excited to meet even stronger opponents. With his manipulative nature, he can trap anyone easily. He definitely gives out those “psychopathic” vibes. Hisoka would never be hesitant to kill anyone, he just can’t give second thought to things. He only kills those people who get in his way or are “worthy of killing”.
Even though he’s a member of Phantom Troupe, he’s mostly absent during their meetings. This habit of Hisoka really pissess of Chrollo who is the leader of the Phantom Troupe. Yes, this guy is dangerously unpredictable. So, if you see Hisoka in the streets, you better hide under the sheets.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22)
Killua Zoldyck – July 7th
Killua Zoldyck might look like an average small boy, yet a true mastermind lies within his body. He’s one of the main protagonists in the series too. In fact, he’s the best friend of Gon Freecss. And trust me, the nature, chemistry, and everything about their friendship is worth-appreciating. Killua might look immature and stupid, I hate to break it to you, but he’s the complete opposite of that.
He’s a very mature boy who can read situations very well. With his murderous skills, he can easily defeat an opponent. His family always traumatized him in various ways, especially his brother. His brother told him that he can’t do anything, or he can’t control his powers, to be specific. So, to prove that wrong, he decides to learn to control his powers. He might appear like a tsundere at times.
Killua is introduced to Gon, after that he’s cheeky, and cheerful. Even their fights are wholesome. Even though Gon tends to be warm-hearted, Killua is the opposite. He’s cold at times and might appear rude to others. He loves munching on sweets. We have seen this boy spend 200 Jenny (HxH Currency) on snacks. If you can relate, raise your hands! *raises hand*
Honestly, he’s one of the most wholesome anime characters of all time too. There’s just something really mysterious about this boy. He hides his pain at times which might be dangerous for him and his nakamas. If you’re curious about Killua, please watch Hunter X Hunter.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Ging Freecss – August 2 (Fictional)
Ging Freecss is the father of Gon. He’s a very daring person similar to Gon. Since he’s the father of Gon, he wants to meet him very badly. Though, he wants the best for his son and says that he wouldn’t want Gon to bring any friends with him since it would be cowardly of him.
If we talk about Ging’s personality, he’s got child-like enthusiasm. He gets excited easily when talking about adventures. The game that he created within the series is also very adventurous. In fact, when Gon’s on his journey to find his father, he plays the same game. This fact alone is very interesting.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Mito Freecss – September 7th
Mito Freecss is the foster mother of Gon Freecss. Mito is a very responsible lady who can handle difficult tasks. I doubt it would have been easy for her to raise Gon. HAHA! I’m just kidding. Anyways, she has taken good care of Gon ever since he was a baby. And whenever Gon hears the word “mother”, Mito shows up in his mind.
Even though she’s a foster mother, she loved Gon unconditionally. At first, just like any other mom e.g, Chichi from DBZ, she was against the idea of Gon following his father’s footsteps to become a hunter. However, the burning passion of her son made her give permission. She’s a very kind, loving, and patient mother. She’s able to tolerate Gon’s mistakes.
Just like a basic mother, she easily gets embarrassed. For instance, her grandma told Gon how she used to get lost so easily in the streets when she was young. It’s true that you always have to lose your way to go the right way, isn’t it? So, if you have something on your mind like that, or if you’re too scared to get lost, don’t worry. You can get lost (Sorry, I don’t mean it like that), however, you can always FIND your way back. Don’t lose hope, go little rockstar!
Nobunaga Hazama – September 8th
Nobunaga Hazama is one of the main antagonists in the series who belong to Phantom Troupe. His physical strength and skills are one of the best in the series. So, if you want to see this guy fight, you better watch Hunter X Hunter.
He’s a rather calm guy. I mean, he doesn’t look chill and gives off more clumsy vibes, right? Nobunaga can be really reckless at times. If you hurt one of his nakamas, he’s going to teach you a good lesson. He’s very mature and can easily make a decision unlike Killua deciding his favorite snack.
If we talk about the friendlier side of Nobunaga, he’s quite friendly, especially with Gon and Killua. He asks them to be friends with him and even asks Chrollo Lucifer to make them a part of Phantom Troupe. If he has dirty intentions behind it, then I’m against calling him “friendly”. Anyways, so far so good. He’s one unique member of the Phantom Troupe. His analyzing skills are on point, he can tell when someone’s lying to him. He doesn’t really like people who lie, especially his hostages. Therefore, he teaches them a good lesson.
Nobunaga is ready to kill hostages when they’re lying repetitively. He surely has the leadership skills. I think after Chrollo, he has the skills to hold the Phantom Troupe together and become the successor.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Shizuku Murasaki – October 13 (FICTIONAL)
Shizuku Murasaki belongs to the Phantom Troupe. She’s quite calm yet aloof. Sometimes she tends to say things that might hurt others. Shizuku has a soulless personality and is an air-head which causes her opponents to think that she isn’t very capable.
Biscuit Kreuger – October 13 (FICTIONAL)
Biscuit Kreuger tends to use her cuteness during different incidents. We see her acting cute many times in the series and getting away after doing things. However, she’s a nice person, she helped Gon and Killua to train and control their nen. She’s charismatic and jokes around quite often too.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Chrollo Lucifer – November 15th
This guy gives me the chills. Despite being handsome, he’s stupid at times. LMAO. Anyways, he’s the leader of the Phantom Troupe. He gathered all these hard-working people very efficiently. His physical strength is worth-appreciating too.
He’s very calm all the time. Chrollo tends to be composed all the time which makes him very charismatic. Isn’t that right? Where’s my army of “Chrollo-lovers”? If you’re in love with Chrollo, raise your hands! *raises hands*. He was born a leader and his intellect with his strategies make him very powerful. I mean, he comes up with different strategies to face the enemies and defeat them. So, this ability of Chrollo got the Phantom Troupe to where it is now.
Chrollo is a great observer, he observes human nature very deeply. Even Gon left a huge impact on him. He shows no fear when talking about death or to simply put in, he isn’t afraid of dying at all. He seems like a stoic person. He’s the one who massacred the Kurta Clan. His cold nature will surely give you the chills. Even though he’s an enemy, yet he will surely make you fall in love with him. Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
Kite – December 2 (FICTIONAL)
Kite appears to be cold and stern with those he doesn’t know or isn’t on good terms with them. Therefore, he can appear to be cold-hearted to them at times. However, his other side depicts his warm, and caring self. In fact, he’s really nice with animals. He’s the sibling of Meruem, and as a child, he was very enthusiastic.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Illumi Zoldyck – January 6 (FICTIONAL)
Illumi Zoldyck is the older brother of Killua. Despite being Killua’s brother, he’s completely the opposite of him. Illumi Zoldyck straight off radiates dark energy. He always underestimated Killua and thought that he’s weaker than him. He also appears to be devoid of human emotions.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Kalluto Zoldyck – February 11 (FICTIONAL)
Is it just me or do you guys also think that there’s diversity of personalities in the Zoldyck Family. Kalluto Zoldyck also belongs to the Zoldyck Family. In fact, he’s the youngest child. However, he appears to be silent and obedient. He only does what she’s told. His combating skills are second to none.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Leorio Paradinight – March 3
Leorio Paradinight is one of the rookie hunters. His height is of no use, sigh. He’s a dummy, and a narcissistic individual who doesn’t think things thoroughly. He thinks that everything in the world can be bought. He becomes a hunter just to get enough funds for his medical education. We know how expensive that is, right?
But they say that medical education gets you to places and pays you very high too. He just wants to get rich. Maybe that’s why he tends to “look rich” too. Leorio is mostly wearing a suit. He looks very extraordinary for a hunter and when he’s with Gon, Killua, and Kurapika, he looks weird since he’s very tall. HAHA, isn’t that right? He usually runs away from responsibilities and tasks. He wants someone else to do his tasks for him.
However, he’s very positive all the time and supports his friends emotionally. When there’s no one by Gon’s, Killua’s or even Kurapika’s side, Leorio tends to be there. He literally fixes them and brings smiles on their faces. That ability of this guy is really nice. I respect that. However, if you wanna know more about Leorio, watch Hunter X Hunter. You won’t regret it, trust me!
