Others might say that people who celebrate fictional character birthdays are annoying and a waste of time. But we are simply going to ignore that statement because here are the characters from the Naruto and Boruto series who spark our interests enough to find our birthday twin among them- and maybe even celebrate their day in whichever way we think suits them! After all, it is always fun to try something new.
If you are not yet familiar with it, Naruto focuses on the story of a young ninja named Naruto Uzumaki and his dreams of becoming the greatest Hokage ever, the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village, also known as Konoha. On the other hand, Boruto centers around Naruto’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, and explores the adventures of the next generation of ninjas. Does the premise appeal to you enough? January
Might Guy (January 1)
Might Guy is a jōnin from the Konoha Village and a master of taijutsu who is skilled enough to be the mentor of a team called Team Guy which consisted of three low-level ninjas which he supervised. He often refers to himself as “Leaf’s Noble Green Beast.” and he has a reason to. While fashioning a green jumpsuit, he uses “Strong Fist” style to perform powerful and effective strikes on his opponents as he is once dubbed as someone to be unmatched when it comes to physical combat.
Darui (January 6)
A ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village, Darui is the right-hand man of their village head, the Fourth Raikage. While most ninjas in the Cloud Village are capable of using lightning release techniques, Darui can harness black lightning which he learned from the former Third Raikage, his teacher. Because of this, he was placed as a leader of the First Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces during the Fourth Shinobi World War. He later becomes the Fifth Raikage.
Gaara (January 19)
Gaara is a ninja from the Hidden Sand Village and is revealed to be a jinchūriki, a human that has a tailed beast sealed inside them and has Shukaku as his tailed beast. So, he is treated as an outcast by his fellow villagers due to fear and is often viewed as a dangerous monster. Being a jinchūriki, he is trained as the Sand Village’s ultimate weapon, able to manipulate sand and utilizes it with his chakra, a form of energy that is essential to perform forms of technique. By the end of the series, he becomes the Sand Village’s fifth Kazekage, their village head.
Shino (January 23)
Coming from the Aburame clan and specializing in insect-based techniques, Shino is a ninja from the Leaf Village and was part of Team Kurenai alongside Kiba and Hinata. He was raised with a particular insect species called kikaichū who uses his body as a host and feeds on his chakra.
Minato Namikaze (January 25)
The Fourth Hokage of the Leaf Village was known as the “Yellow Flash of the Leaf”‘, and he was also Naruto’s father. Because he participated in the Third Shinobi World War, Minato was elected to become the Hokage. Additionally, he taught the Hokage Guard Platoon the Flying Thunder God Technique in an attempt to help them in their duties of serving the Hokage. It is not surprising that he is regarded as one of the most powerful ninjas in history.

Hiruzen Sarutobi (February 8)
Hiruzen was the Third Hokage of the Leaf Village and had earned the title of “God of Shinobi.” He was selected by the Second Hokage himself. Having an unparalleled match in ninjutsu, he mastered all combat techniques of the arts. This allowed him to execute them with the highest power and control. Even in his old age, it was said that he housed a tremendous amount of chakra. However, in his later years, producing two shadow clones already posed a threat to his body.
Tobirama Senju (February 19)
The first ninja village, Leaf Village was established by Tobirama Senju, a member of the famed Senju Clan, alongside his elder brother and the Uchiha clan. Tobirama then would dedicate his life to public service, ensuring the village’s safety and development. He would acquire the title of the Second Hokage upon the death of his brother.
March
Tenten (March 9)
As a child, Tenten had a dream of not only becoming a great ninja but also to become a kunoichi like Tsunade, a Sannin. She was then placed in Team Guy, with Neji and Rock Lee under Might Guy’s supervision. Tenten tried to build her physical strength and skills to become a medical-nin, a ninja who works exclusively in medical treatments but failed. She eventually discovered that she is outstanding in fūinjutsu, a type of jutsu that seals objects.
Boruto Uzumaki (March 27)
The first child of Naruto and Hinata Uzumaki, Boruto is a prodigy as he comes from two strong bloodlines: the Uzumaki and the Hyuga clan from his mother. It has been said that he has his paternal grandfather’s genius and his father’s skills, he easily tops his class at his Genin exams and excels in physical combat. Despite all of this, there is something he worries about at some point in time, he was somewhat upset over his father’s absence ever since he became the Hokage. Nevertheless, he soon learns to understand his responsibilities and looks up to become a great ninja like his mentor, Sasuke Uchiha.
Sakura Uchiha (March 28)
Sakura is a ninja of the Leaf Village. She was part of Team 7 along with Naruto and Sasuke under the tutelage of Kakashi Hatake. It is noted that when Sakura was still a genin, she focused on her studies more to the point where she lacked beyond the basic techniques. With this, she trained with Tsunade with the hopes of becoming stronger, and so that her fellow ninjas can rely on her more. Eventually, with her prowess and distinct progress, she is now regarded as one of the greatest medical-nin of her time.
Sarada Uchiha (March 31)
The only child of Sasuke and Sakura Uchiha. Her mother was mostly the one to raise her as her father was not around very often because of his mission, so she did not know anything about him, including what he looked like as an adult. She was finally able to meet Sasuke with the help of Naruto, whom she looked up to because she aspires to become a hokage someday.

Mifune (April 1)
Mifune is a master samurai. He is an excellent leader since he is in charge of the military power as their general and has control over them all. Due to his immense sword fighting knowledge, Mifune is able to evaluate his opponents’ proficiency with a weapon after just one encounter. He can send a wave of chakra with a quick swing of his blade as a potent long-range strike, similar to how his followers can do with their swords to improve their cutting power.

Chōji Akimichi (May 1)
Chōji, who was born into the Akimichi clan, will succeed his father Chōza as the Sixteenth Head of the Akimichi. Along with Ino and Shikamaru, he was a genin that was part of Team Asuma. Chōji has a stout body and eats frequently since he is an Akimichi, which turns the food he consumes into chakra. Using the body-expanding Multi-Size Technique, he uses the chakra he has stored to take down his enemies with the Human Bullet Tank.
Killer Bee (May 15)
Killer Bee is a ninja from the Cloud Village. He is the Eight-Tails’ most recent jinchūriki, Gyūki, and astonishingly, he was able to make friends with it and harness its strength for the Cloud Village’s advantage. He is a formidable ninja who guards the Cloud Village and has long since mastered his special abilities. Bee was even described by Minato Namikaze as a powerful ninja rather than just a jinchūriki. Aside from being a ninja, he has ambitions of becoming a rapper.
Ay (June 1)
As the son of the Third Raikage, Ay is honed to become the Fourth Raikage of the Cloud Village as well as to become the Supreme Leader of the Allied Shinobi Forces. Because of his innate speed, he can avoid detection by an opponent and intercept them. Ay is hailed as the world’s quickest shinobi since Minato Namikaze’s death. It is also claimed that he holds a massive amount of powerful chakra that is comparable to a tailed beast.
Itachi Uchiha (June 9)
Itachi was a part of the esteemed Uchiha clan of the Leaf Village. After killing every member of his clan, he later turned into a worldwide criminal, only saving his little brother Sasuke. Later, he joined the Akatsuki, whose operations put him constantly in confrontation with the Leaf Village and its ninjas. After his death, it was revealed that his deeds were more than what meets the eye and had always been done for the benefit of his brother and community.

Neji Hyuga (July 3)
Neji was a member of the Hyūga clan from the Leaf Village. Despite being a genius, he would always be in the service of the Hyūga’s main family, in which he felt that he cannot do anything about it even though he wants to be in service on his own terms. As a member of Team Guy, with Tenten and Rock Lee, he sought the strength required to create the destiny he wanted and decisively gave his life to defend the friend who made him realize the freedom of choice, Naruto.
Sasuke Uchiha (July 3)
After his brother, Itachi, murdered their entire clan and leaving only Sasuke himself to survive, he vowed to avenge them. Upon being placed in Team 7 with Naruto and Sakura, he continued to develop his skills as a ninja. However, he was not fully satisfied with it until he decided to quit from the Leaf Village, leaving his friends, to gain the power he needed to demonstrate his revenge, eventually becoming an international criminal just like his brother. But, when he had learned about his brother’s sacrifice, he reconciled with his friends and Village and decided to be loyal once again and protect his fellow villagers.
Kiba Inuzuka (July 7)
Born in the Leaf Village’s Inuzuka clan, Kiba is often accompanied by his canine partner, Akamaru as they are both dedicated to protecting their comrades. Together with Akamaru, Kiba uses teamwork skills in his battle. As an Inuzuka, Kiba has increased canine senses as he can easily identify between different people based on their scent by focusing his chakra to his nose. Additionally, he possesses a quick reaction time, refined reflexes, and remarkable physical strength and speed because of his clan’s trained fighting style.
Mitsuki (July 25)
Orochimaru created Mitsuki as an artificial human being using the same embryo. In the end, Mitsuki decided to search on his own for his purpose in this world and as a ninja. He then made the choice to travel to Konoha and make friends with Boruto Uzumaki after meeting him in order to discover his own way in life.
August
Himawari Uzumaki (August 1)
Born two years after her brother Boruto, Himawari is the second and youngest child of Naruto and Hinata Uzumaki. Due to her coming from the Hyūga bloodline, Himawari unconsciously triggered her Byakugan ability when her favorite toy was destroyed by Boruto when she was young. She is not a ninja as of now but she has great potential and possesses a remarkable talent for it, much like her older brother.
Tsunade (August 2)
One of the Leaf Village’s Sannin, she also comes from both the Senju and Uzumaki bloodline, and is deemed as the greatest medical-nin. Eventually, she served her time as the Fifth Hokage. After the Second Shinobi World War, her talents were well renowned for being able to control and sustain powerful chakra for long periods of time. As a medical-nin, she was able to spot illnesses quickly and treat ailments that others thought were incurable. Ultimately, she was also largely responsible for creating the contemporary system of medical-nin.
Temari Nara (August 24)
Originally from the Sand Village, she grew up with the Fourth Kazekage and Gaara then moved into the Leaf Village to train as a genin. In time, she is now married to Shikamaru Nara and works as a ninja in the Leaf. In battle, Temari holds a massive iron fan that she combines with her Wind Release nature manipulation to unleash winds violently. She was known as the top Wind Release user by the time of the Fourth Shinobi World War, as demonstrated by her capability to harm the Third Raikage.

Kakashi Hatake (September 15)
He has earned the title “Kakashi of the Sharingan” with justification. He is also famous for being the child of Sakumo “Leaf’s White Fang” Hatake, his father, for being the leader of Team 7, where he mentored Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura and as one of the greatest ninjas the Leaf has ever had. Kakashi has earned the nickname Copy Ninja Kakashi for his propensity to mimic almost any technique used against him because of the Sharingan that was placed in Kakashi’s left eye socket by Obito Uchiha. After the Fourth Shinobi World War, he becomes the Sixth Hokage of the Leaf Village, before Naruto.
Shikamaru Nara (September 22)
Shikamaru is easily considered by his peers and the people from his community as having an excellent intellect and an effective strategist. Shikamaru was put in Team 10 with Choji and Ino and their mentor, Asuma observed that Shikamaru was much smarter than he gave the impression of being. Through a series of intelligence tests, Asuma later learned that Shikamaru has an IQ of over 200. As a member of the Nara clan can control his own shadow: the Shadow Imitation Technique and is used to limit a target’s movement and force them to imitate his own by joining his shadow.
Ino Yamanaka (September 23)
A ninja from the Leaf Village’s Yamanaka clan and was part of Team 10 back when she was a genin. Because of her lineage, Ino masters mind manipulation methods like the Mind Body Switch Technique, which gives her the power to possess a person and direct their behavior. One downside of this technique is that the user’s body is vulnerable.

Naruto Uzumaki (October 10)
The titular character is a ninja from the famed Uzumaki clan. His name came into significance when it was learned that he became the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails at birth and was discriminated against by his village. Even amidst the stigma, Naruto was able to build meaningful relationships with people around him and is incredibly loyal to his comrades. Furthermore, he had great dreams of becoming an honored ninja. Over the years, he proved himself as an important relevance to the Fourth Shinobi World War and has become the Seventh Hokage.
Hashirama Senju (October 23)
Named as the “God of Ninjas”, Hashirama was part of the Senju clan and founded the Leaf Village with his childhood friend and later rival, Madara Uchiha. As a founder, he became the First Hokage and was praised as the strongest ninja of his era.
November
Jiraiya (November 11)
He may be known for the nickname “Perverted Hermit” and an author of an erotic book series called “Icha Icha” but he was one of the sannin of the Leaf Village along with Tsunade and Orochimaru. Jiraiya was mentored by the Third Hokage himself with his fellow sannins and when he did finally become a great ninja on his own, he decided to take in Minato as an apprentice. As he traveled the world, he proceeded to pass on his teachings to his godson, Naruto.
Rock Lee (November 27)
He is a ninja from the Leaf Village’s Lee clan. Back when he was still a genin from the Academy, he was often looked down upon by his classmates due to his lack of abilities to use ninjutsu and genjutsu. Despite that, Might Guy took him under Team Guy and encouraged him to focus on his taijutsu skills, in which he is exceptional.
Sai Yamanaka (November 28)
He came into prominence when he served as Sasuke’s replacement in Team 7 prior to the latter’s defection. It was then learned that he was recruited and served in the Anbu, a group of covert ninjas in the Leaf. Because of this, he was raised and conditioned to be stoic, to have no friends or family, and to go by the name “Sai” in order to join Team 7. Soon enough, Sai was able to develop heartfelt bonds to the people around him and abandon the teachings of the Anbu. He is also married to Ino, and has a son named Inojin.

Hinata Uzumaki (December 27)
Hinata is the wife of Naruto and the mother of Boruto and Himawari. As the former heiress of the powerful Hyūga clan, Hinata persisted to become stronger after she was surpassed by her younger sister, Hanabi. As a child, she met Naruto when she was being picked on by bullies because of her unusual eyes, and the latter immediately came to her side. She then discovered that Naruto had been carrying this huge dream of becoming the Hokage and thus made him her role model.
Konohamaru Sarutobi (December 30)
He is the grandson of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen. Initially, he wanted to follow his grandfather’s footsteps, and had the desire to be known as his own person- not as Hiruzen’s grandson, but to be his own label. By adulthood, he becomes the mentor of his own genin team and now has hopes that he will be able to become a Hokage, like Naruto this time.
