As we dive into the culture of anime, we discover lots of good stuff that we youngsters and adults would totally enjoy. What more could be gratifying than having your parents vibe in with the things you love? However, hear me out, okay? Suppose you want to introduce your parents to anime. In that case, you must be careful with your recommendations, so I suggest you RESEARCH FIRST. One of our worst nightmares is to be flustered with our parents, right?

Kiritsugu participates along with the other six competitors leaving the war with only one victor who will acquire the Grail that grants any wish.

Maybe you have noticed the ecchi tag from the information table, right? That, my friends, because this anime offers you a lot of fanservice. And may I add that the main characters are stepsiblings (；・∀・).

 

23. Tokyo Ghoul

Their human-like features made them adapt to society to widen their control over humans. Ken Kaneki, once an ordinary boy, found himself lying in a hospital bed and found out that his body is not the same as before.

I must say it is a beautifully written story that highlights both the human and ghouls. Adding it with the drama and horror elements made the story more intriguing, which is probably why Tokyo Ghoul deserved the hype!

The story’s theme gives so much depth to human nature’s approach to survival and fear. And there’s more to it as it dives into political lore. And the writing! The way the author used the element of flashbacks blew my mind ヽ(°〇°)ﾉ.

 

15. Death Parade

I guess we all approve that this is a classic! The characters in this anime are fascinating to follow through the story as they debate the beliefs they hold.

Some scenes are disturbing and creepy. Accompanied by a solid storyline, I can say that it is a terrific show!

 

3. Highschool of the Dead

It is probably one of the funniest shows but with lots of ummm.. “beautiful shots” that adults would enjoy.

Of course, we would save one of the goriest ones for last! Some scenes gave me a scare ＼(º □ º l|l)/.

 

Conclusion

Though anime offers diversity with its variety of genres, most are still repelled by its adult-rated themes. The list above highlights gory, psychological, and sexual themes, but that doesn’t stop us from enjoying the story itself, right? With the characters being one of the most vital elements in anime, the usual character development arcs are always so interesting that we can’t help but love them! So don’t let it stop you from watching the mentioned titles because you’ll surely miss out on the good stuff. Just watch out for your laptop and tv screens (｀∀´).
