Surely, you’re pretty familiar with manhwa from different genres. There are the O.P. ones, supernatural, thriller, fantasy, horror. But I think my personal favourite is the one where I read about the MC gaining power, strength and influence steadily.
And talking about manhwa, here’s a list of some top-rated manhwa where the MC has a system, and indeed a weeb would have no issue knowing what that means, right?
I bet you can’t wait to see what we have to offer on this list, can you? Well, I also can’t wait to tell you all about it. So why bother? Let’s just get on right with it!

My favorite aspect of this manhwa is the length of its chapters. And in this manhwa, we get to somehow relate with Song Chang’s story. He’s always spent his entire existence eating and playing mindless games until one day, a mysterious crystal appears and grants him the ability to transcend the limitations of humankind.
When Song Chang absorbs this power, everything changes. From being an average person to becoming the world’s most famous superhero. He begins his adventure with his newfound strength.
The art is excellent, and the plot is well-written, making this manhwa a worthwhile read. Our protagonist uses the system to perform quests and earn prizes to level up.

I suggest reading this manhwa since the MC was not O.P. in his past life. He was just a regular warrior. An untalented and untrained junior fighter, Tang Yoo Sung, is the protagonist in this story. Yoo Sung died on the battlefield, but he suddenly found himself inside the younger him’s body as he opened his eyes. Now he’s determined to rewrite history.
Because he was born into a low-income family, he could only practice basic martial arts techniques. At 30, he recognized he had inferior talents, but he was determined to fix that. So, he decided to become one of the most powerful beings and change the future.
He obtains a Murim Online system and needs to complete tasks to gain strength. So, he levels up and becomes powerful through his efforts and the system.

Monsters were pouring out of the crack and attacking the planet. One of the most sought-after occupations in the world today is that of a monster hunter. While working his hardest at a meat restaurant, Oh Young Son, our MC, awakens one day with the power to effortlessly hunt monsters.
Pressing a button empowers him with good mastery of skills and physical rarities. Fortunately, our protagonist in this manhwa is given a basic system. When he activates auto-hunting in that system, he gains significant strength immediately. What then is so compelling about this particular tale?
Let me tell you something. He isn’t reliant on the system! As an alternative, he devotes his time and effort to training his body and then employs the system’s power. Man, the art in this manhwa is stunning. It’s also a safe bet that this manhwa is a great read, as well.

This is one of the most famous manhwas. And indeed, the title “Nano Machine” should ring a bell. Doesn’t it? This is the story of Cheon Yeo-Woon, an orphan. After being mocked and having his life threatened, his descendant unexpectedly visits him and implants a thin device inside his body.
Activating this gadget affects his life tremendously. This manhwa tells of Yeo-Woon’s remarkable transformation from a weakling to one of the cult’s most formidable martial artists.
If you haven’t read the Light Novel yet, or if you’re curious about what happens after the manhwa’s final chapters, you should. This manhwa’s graphics and plot are stunning. And Nano Machine is a must-read manhwa, mainly because the main character is a badass.

But Ethan’s good days end when he’s slain by an unknown player and returns to level 1. Now Ethan must battle his way up the ranks, all the while evading strange powers that intend to bar his progress.
The rest of the story is about him regaining his powers and making new acquaintances along the way. A superb manhwa with amazing battle sequences and endearing characters. It’s a fantastic blend for me, therefore I loved it!

This one concerns me since I felt the first ten chapters are among the best I’ve read in any manhwa. Like the pure thrill of watching the MC get stronger day by day. It’s why we adore these stories. Every minute of MC’s pain was repaid in strength and experience. I recall thanking the creator in every chapter since seeing an OP character done well is unusual.
That was when he began his adventure. His objective was well defined, and he understood his purpose. You’d expect the MC to focus on his end aim once he understands it. Know why? Unlike other M.C.s, he had to work hard to become powerful in order to survive. With such a history, you’d expect him to continue on this trip, but with greater freedom.

In the year 2020, the world was stricken by a calamity known as “Data Crash.” The game is ruled by the survivors, and the losers are wiped out. Jacob Wei, a veteran player, was unfortunate in that, however, he failed after having survived several rounds.
Quite unexpectedly, he was sent back to the beginning of the accident and reincarnated with the astonishing Self-Destruct System in his possession. Now he receives points for doing foolish things, which causes him to self-destruct, allowing him to be resurrected.

For those who have finished the first volume of the manhwa, they’d surely tell you it has a more Korean than Japanese vibe. It’d be great if this were made into a full-length anime, though. VRMMOs are a big part of the show’s fan base.
But isn’t our interest vested in levelling up?
Craft and action are equally important in this story. You never know what’s going to happen next. Some readers may prefer to take a vacation each chapter and just wait for the next one to begin. In addition, there is a lot of scrolling in this manhwa for those who’d read it online.

Now here’s an anime that just might remind you of Solo Leveling. And surely, there are quite a number of positive reviews and also recommendations about this manhwa, so much so it’s made its way to the top 10 of this list.
The story has a very wild and imaginative beginning, one which you definitely cannot resist, and all you just have to do is keep going. And believe me, you’d find that you won’t even mind that it took some time before the main character leveled up from Level 1.
But without further ado, why not go ahead and go check it out yourself? And see what this manhwa has, that has earned it this position in this ranking.

It’s a good manhwa for a medical novel. Medical manhwas are difficult to comprehend by the general public.
Even for individuals who aren’t interested in medicine but want to read a fantastic drama, the translator went to great lengths to describe the names of the most difficult ailments while they were being translated.
So, for my readers that are medically inclined, or love fantastic manhwas, you surely should give this manhwa a try.

What happens when you put someone into a game and seek to control him? Surely, you’d get what you deserve.
The protagonist is despicable, and although the art is a little basic, it’s easily overlooked due to the fantastic storyline twists and turns that have you cursing, laughing, and empathizing with the manhwa’s “hero”.
This is a manhwa that you will either admire or despise, but I suggest it anyway. The more you read, the clearer it becomes, and it’s a refreshing take on Isekai.

Tomb Raider King has always been entertaining, from the characters and comedy to the action sequences in this manhwa. The graphics are also pleasing to the eye. However, while it is entertaining, it does have flaws.
Regardless, it’s fun to witness the characters interact with their friends and to see certain historical events described and created via the lens of the relic.
Overall, the focus was never on the tale or the characters, but rather on the sensation of witnessing how someone might utilize mythology to create creative powers and rooting for our protagonist to earn additional powers.

After a brutal ten-year conflict in the “shadow labyrinth,” the planet is on the verge of collapse. Desir Herrmann is among the last talented magicians left alive, but he is no match for the terrible opponent threatening humanity’s very survival.
Just as he thinks the end is near, he is sent back in time to his days studying magic at the famous Hebrion Academy! Desir is resolved to save not just himself, but also the friends and colleagues he previously lost, with this rare second opportunity.
Can his efforts make a difference now that he knows what their future holds, or are they all condemned to repeat the same tragic fate?

Now this is one of the most unusual manhwas I’ve ever seen. To begin with, players live in the game world, and while the main character’s skill is quite powerful, effectively utilizing it takes intelligence. Additionally, it is a universe in which players attempt to work cooperatively to beat levels of the game world in order to proceed farther in the plot.
There are some uplifting, tear-jerking moments, which were unexpected, but I adore them, and they change how people feel about the protagonist. Although the MC is initially pitiful, he has significant character development during the story, which is rather wonderful.
The supporting characters, in my opinion, are well-developed and diversified, and each contribute in some manner to the tale. Finally, I also want to point out that the art is one of the greatest I’ve seen.

Even for me, that title is quite a mouthful. Hahaha! But what’s the Manhwa about? Let me give you a little prelude.
As he was working overtime after spending several sleepless nights at work, he fell asleep. And upon waking up, he thought he’d taken the place of the villain in the manhwa he was reading. And surely, I think you can just expect what life would be like for him, right?
Well, this manhwa tells of how he struggles to gain more power and level up, in order to gain more strength to defeat those who would do him harm.

And overall, it is a very good read. One which I’d recommend that you go check out.

This is one of my all-time favorite Manhwas, and it’s a classic! The art is stunning, and the plot is quite engaging. This manhwa premise will never grow old, even if we know that the MC will continue to advance in his abilities.
Something new is constantly occurring, and the tale is always getting better and better. And believe me, when I tell you this, it just might be overrated, but well, it’s earned the right to that!
