My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU follows Hachiman Hikigaya, an antisocial teen riddled with pessimism and close-mindedness in every situation he could think of. He’s a realistic teen, all that mood swings and brooding comes from somewhere and that’s puberty! Due to a badly written paper, Hachiman was forced by his teacher to join the Volunteer’s Club spearheaded by the prettiest girl in school, Yukino Yukinoshita. She’s cute and she knows it!
The series follows the adventures of the three members of the Volunteer’s Club, offering their classmates help and advice while dealing with their inner conflicts. With three manga adaptations and two anthology volumes, it is mostly referred to as Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatteiru abbreviated to OreGairu and Hamachi but took the English title My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU when it was adapted into an anime television series. It comprised three seasons with 13 episodes plus OVA for Season 1 and 2, while having 12 episodes in its final season.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Season 1 (2013)

Season 1 started with 13 Episodes airing between April 2013 to June 2013. The series is a slice-of-life genre, dabbling with the romantic comedy aspect of it considering it is suggested in the title. But, the first season started off introducing the characters which give us viewers more involvement in getting to know everyone better.
Soubu High School has a diverse range of teenagers who all want to fit in. Despite his desire to be alone, Hachiman Hikigaya joins Yukino Yukinoshita and classmate Yui Yuigahama, after his teacher forces him to form the school’s Volunteer Club. The three of them buddy up to help out their classmates while having inner conflicts of their own.

 After discussing potential study topics, the Volunteer’s Club decides to design some surveys and collect a sample of the students still enrolled in the school.Â
