Most anime weebs out there already have an idea what Bungou Stray Dogs is all about. Well, if you don’t, just continue reading and I’ll enlighten you.
Upon watching this anime, you’ll be experiencing the genres namely: mystery, fiction and action. These genres work so well together. If you love Tokyo Ghoul, Banana Fish, and Akame ga kill, then I’m almost a hundred percent sure that you will love this one as well. Plus, you can also expect to experience nonsensical characters with their dark humor. Simply, this is not just another boring and bland anime to watch.
To continue, for this blog, I will not really tell you all the stuff that took place in every episode, but rather the major overview of what to expect and mainly what’s the order of watching it. Okay guys, without further ado, here are Bungou Stray Dogs watch order.

Overview:
Atsushi Nakajima is the protagonist of the narrative, who is a young adult. As a result of being expelled from his orphanage, Atsushi intervenes in the death of a detective called Osamu Dazai, who Atsushi believes is drowning in the river.
As a result of his dialogues with Dazai, Atsushi discovers that he has been endowed with a special power that allows him to transform himself into the a berserker white tiger when exposed to moonlight; this ability has caused the orphanage to torture him and force him out of their care in the past.
As a result of Dazai’s recruitment, he joins the Agency, where he meets several other talent users as they work together to solve different crimes and events that take place in Yokohama, which is teeming with people who possess Supernatural Abilities. Because there is a reward on Atsushi’s head in the black market, he became the target of Rynosuke Akutagawa and the other members of the Port Mafia.
During his battles with the mafia, Atsushi comes face to face with Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, a leader of a Fellowship of the Guild, who is responsible for the reward set on his head.
Fitzgerald discloses that there is a mystical book capable of altering reality that is related to Atsushi’s tiger, which pushed him to place a bounty on the tiger’s head.
Fitzgerald makes no consideration for any cosmic harm that the Guild could do to Yokohama in return for the book. He even ordered the destruction of the city through an airship dubbed “Moby Dick.” However, after teaming forces with Atsushi and Akutagawa, he comes dangerously close to being assassinated, as ex-mafia associate Kyoka Izumi stops Moby Dick.

Overview:
Ango Sakaguchi is an intelligence agent who works for the Port Mafia. At the end of the day, three men—Osamu Dazai, the newest Port Mafia’s senior executive; Sakunosuke Oda, the lowest ranked member; and Osamu Dazai—gather just at Lupin Bar to relax and enjoy the company of his friends.
Ango, on the other hand, vanishes one night. The only thing that the trio left behind is a picture shot at a local tavern.
Flash forward to current time, Dazai is already employed as a detective with the Armed Detective Agency. A talented group based in the United States, The Guild, has joined the battle with the goal of obtaining the Agency’s work authorization. They should now split their focus in between two parties, the Guild and Port Mafia, both of whom are hostile to their own existence and must be dealt with as a priority.

Overview:
Ango Sakaguchi, a government official, remembers an incident that occurred years back, following the demise of the previous Port Mafia chief, and the completion of the three key battles. A strange explosion that ravaged a section of a city years ago was being investigated by Osamu Dazai, who was just beginning his career at the time. He was also being entrusted with determining if the incident had to do with the rumored return of his old employer.
The case is brought to Dazai’s attention by Chuuya Nakahara, the talented but reckless head of the a rival clan renowned as the “Sheep,” who joins him to unearth the truth behind it as well as cast a light on Arahabaki’s story—the god of fire that will always be the key to solving the case.
While all of this is going on, the Armed Detective Agency is back to its regularly scheduled programming. It will not be long until their foes old and new collect their power once more and ready for another confrontation with them.

Overview:
The day’s itinerary has been completed by Kunikida, who has just finished writing it in the notebook that Atsushi takes a look at. He is concerned that Kunikida would not be able to fulfill all of his chores in a day, yet Kunikida assures him that he will devote every ounce of his spirit into adhering to his meticulously planned timetable.
Yosano then asks Kunikida if she would like to accompany her to the food store, which Kunikida rejects. After receiving a tip about a bomber who plans to throw a bag full of explosives to a random pedestrian, Tanizaki instructs Kunikida that he should continue his report when he returns.
Ranpo informs Kunikida that they have run out of snacks, to which Kunikida responds by informing him that they have some backups in the kitchen. Finally, Kunikida begs Dazai not to interfere with his plans for the day, which he agrees to.
Kunikida makes his way to the metro and waits for his train, which arrives with plenty of time left. He expresses how important this train is to his timetable, and how if he skips it, the whole schedule would be destroyed for him.
Dazai phones him and informs him that the guy who creates his journals, Master Carlyle (in his debut), has paid a visit to his place of business. Kunikida is first ecstatic at the prospect of seeing the artist whose work he really admires, but he soon understands that this is a ruse by Dazai to disrupt his schedule.
As a result of being forced to choose among artisan as well as his train, Kunikida sadly instructs Dazai to convey a message towards Master Carlyle and opts to join the train.

Overview:
Six years ago, the “Dragon Head Conflict” in Yokohama was the most violent conflict in the city’s history, resulting in the deaths of 88 people from various groups. Although Osamu Dazai was in Port Mafia the night before the show’s finale, he as well as Chya Nakahara came upon a guy called Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, who they decided to interview.
Today, the Armed Detective Agency being called on us to investigate alleged apparent suicides involving hundreds other supernatural ability users all across the world, which happened when a weird fog drifted over their respective nations during the course of the investigation. As a result of their investigation, the Special Operations Division has concluded that this occurrence is linked to Shibusawa, who is now a self-identified”collector.”
During the night, even before the Agency is to take the integration test, Atsushi Nakajima does have a disturbing dream about his childhood in an orphanage, in which a strangely placed door painted in the shape of a white tiger gets covered in thick fog. He’s roused from his sleep by Kyka Izumi, who’d already dreamt about fog.
The two quickly realize that the whole city of Yokohama has been enveloped in a weird fog, and that everyone else, with the exception of the different ability-users, has vanished.
2. Bungo Stray Dogs The Beast (2022)

Overview:
The meeting with a bandaged guy in black occurs after orphaned Rynosuke Akutagawa murders a gang of six bandits who had murdered his comrades. That man in black, bandaged, had initially intended to recruit him. However, he observes that the youngster is simply motivated by mindless wrath and retribution, a comment that enrages Akutagawa, who responds angrily. He attempts to assassinate the guy, but is unsuccessful, much to his surprise.
The guy then makes the decision to choose someone else to serve as his right-hand man. When Akutagawa reaches the end of his rope, the guy challenges him to another match in the future. To tide him over until then, he says that he would retain custody of Akutagawa’s younger sister.
4 years and a half have passed, Akutagawa passed the Armed Investigator Agency entrance test after being brought into it by member Sakunosuke Oda. The exam consisted of dismantling a fake bomb carried by detective Jun’ichiro Tanizaki, which Akutagawa successfully completed.
In spite of this, Akutagawa has yet to pass the actual test of whether or not he exhibits the self-discipline and morality required of an Agency member and is thus under surveillance by Tanizaki as well as Doppo Kunikida on a secret basis. Meanwhile, a group of mercenaries faces off against Atsushi Nakajima, dubbed the “White Reaper” of the Port Mafia, and the legendary Kyka Izumi, which forces them to fulfill their job on the orders of Mafia chief Osamu Dazai.
Later, Dazai informs Atsushi of the third part of his plan; the Armed Detective Agency is the next target, according to papers given over from the secretary of Dazai, Gin, who is also Dazai’s assistant. As Akutagawa explains to the members of the Agency that his sister, Gin, has been abducted by a “guy in black,” he has sought Oda’s assistance in training him to become tougher.
They then enlist the assistance of Ranpo Edogawa in their search for Gin; though initially uninterested, he eventually grants Akutagawa an OK card, which he can use to fill out with his co-detectives once he has satisfied and accomplished situations.
