Betrayal sucks, don’t you agree? Especially if  your fellow adventurers or your loved ones are  involved. For some reason, each time the MC gets betrayed in a manhwa, he comes back as an overpowered character.

I don’t know why, but it’s most probably to take revenge on the people that betrayed him. Let’s take the anime, Rising Of The Shield Hero, for example. Naofumi was betrayed by whom he thought was his comrade. But slowly, he gained more and more fame and started to become strong—stronger than any current heroes.

But something really unexpected happened. He sadly got betrayed and worse of all, killed by his own fellow team members. Wow, that’s just brutal! Why? You may ask. Well, he was feared since he was known to be a Master Spearman. But obviously, this wasn’t the end.

Enough talking about that, let’s start with the story of this manhwa! Dungeons and Artifacts revolves around our MC, Stetch Atelier, who was a professional dungeon explorer. One day, he gets hired by none other than the prince!

Yes! That’s just insane. The prince supposedly wanted help exploring the dungeon. Atelier accepted and didn’t know what was gonna come up next. The prince somehow tricked Atelier into activating some sort of a curse. 

Now, that should have probably killed him, right? Well! We are talking about our MC, not some random side-character. The curse in the Artifact that was supposed to kill Atelier, gave him really cool powers instead.

Our MC was a great mage, and was really strong. She went by the name Winsty. One day, she finds herself in some kind of Wedding. What is her goal? You may ask. Well! She wants to protect the so-called Duke from a rival family.

Why? Well! I can’t really spoil too much but Winsty is protecting the Duke from the attacks that Winsty’s family is sending.

Second Life Ranker plot revolves around Yeonwoo, who was really attached to his brother! He wanted to be with him, explore with him, play with him, and just have a fun time. But, one day, his brother mysteriously disappeared.

When Yeonwoo finds out that his brother disappeared, he looks into the situation a little more to find where his brother actually went. He finds out that his brother was actually BETRAYED while he was climbing the tower called the Tower of the Sun God.

Our MC, Yeonwoo, was devastated. So when he finds a diary that his brother wrote, he goes on a journey to take revenge by climbing the one and only, Tower of the Sun God.

He was blamed for murder. Yes! Even though he had NOTHING to do with it, he was still blamed for killing his own teammate. Cassian thought that this was the end, but suddenly, he transmigrated as a teenager.

During his coma, his soul went inside of a temple and started to wander there. But, this temple wasn’t any normal temple. This temple has trained heroes! Yes! Those super cool heroes that save the entire world.

He starts to train there, and one day, he wakes up from that longgggg coma and wants revenge.

Bam, with his friend Rachel, went inside a strange tower. It was rumored that upon completing this tower, one can make any wish and it will be fulfilled. But… Bam was betrayed. By who? You may ask. Welp, he was betrayed by none other than Rachel. How Cruel!
