The goal of thirteen-year-old Baki Hanma is to surpass his father and get significantly stronger than him. Most youngsters born in the 1990s are familiar with Baki and are aware of his desire to dominate underground fighting. In the fourth season of Baki, The World’s Strongest Boy was named after Baki Hanma. As this series releases its new series, he is getting closer and closer to realizing his ambition. How Baki will develop his full strength and realize his desire of being able to outperform his father is the central theme of this anime. Avenge the murder of his mother, Emi Akezawa, who was killed by his father, Yujiro Hanma.
As Baki Hanma pursued his principles, he came in contact with individuals who’d either support or undermine him. These are some of the birthdays of the folks he has met along the road. Baki Hanma (January 8)
The main character in the anime, Baki Hanma, is a Capricorn. His mother, Emi Akezawa, who was deeply in love with Baki’s father, Yujiro Hanma, trained him. Despite following his mother’s wishes, he started to train to outdo and defeat his father after his mother was killed in front of him. This young man sought retribution and put in a lot of effort to make things right.
Baki was also a goal-oriented, caring son. He does not fight those who are weaker than him. Kozue Matsumoto’s protective boyfriend. A gentleman who was courteous to others, despite coming from a wealthy family, his mother taught him how to respect and love others. His overpowered-ness did surprise everyone!

Kozue Matsumoto (March 31)
Despite Baki’s anger for his father, Yujiro, the Aries sign girl, Kozue, helped Baki in becoming a man with a kind heart.
Kozue was the child of Baki’s landlady, Kinuyo Matsumoto. After multiple clashes, his father unexpectedly almost led him to his death during an underground brawl. She was a quiet girl who loved Baki deeply. When she learned that he was participating in underground combat, she begged him to stop. However, Baki was such a stubborn man that he persisted in seeking retribution on Yujiro.
Even though Baki was poisoned during one of his matches with Ryuukou Yanagi, she never left him. Yujiro told his son Baki that he had chosen the ideal and fantastic woman to be with after witnessing her affection for Baki.
In addition to Jack, Baki’s half-brother, Muhammad Ali Jr. also fell in love with Kozue because she was a kind-hearted woman. Ali Jr. challenges Baki to have a match, the winner of the match will win the young woman’s heart. Baki prevailed in the final melee and continued protecting his girlfriend.
She stayed with Baki and never left. A perfect girlfriend, who every man desires.
April
Yujiro Hanma (April 1)
Others called him “Mighty One,” “The Ogre,” or “The Strongest Creature on Earth”. The sign of Aries.
He can kill as many people as he wants, just like a nuclear weapon. A bloodthirsty monster determined to slaughter people mercilessly. He never considered this kind of phrase because, in his perspective, the word mercy is synonymous with weakness. Even his own kids, Baki and Jack, know that he enjoys killing and that he is the best assassin for hire in the market. Both of them have their own reasons why they want to defet their own father.
He cannot confess to himself that a soft place is beginning to develop in his heart after killing Emi. He began to love his son and desired for Baki to get stronger after feeling guilty about everything he had done to Emi. That causes him to steer his son toward his dream through a distinct teaching method that is not being demonstrated.

Emi Akezawa (May 14)
She is the mother of Baki Hanma, our main protagonist and a Taurus. She was a wealthy member of the Akezawa family and Eiichi Akezawa’s former spouse. She was enthralled and developed feelings for Yujiro Hanma, and eventually became obsessed with him. She taught Baki to follow his father’s footsteps. In this view, Emi wants Yujiro to see Baki and be pleased with him. However, the truth is that Emi no longer cares about Baki because all this time, the only thing she actually ever wanted was to impress Yujiro. She accuses Baki of being helpless and bringing her shame because of his slow progress and being weak.
When Emi witnessed the brutal battle between Yujiro and Baki, everything changed. Baki’s body collapsed to the ground at that point, half-dead. At that precise moment, she started to understand how selfish she had been towards her kid and how her love for this devil-like man had caused her to wreck Baki’s childhood. She fled and begged Yujiro to spare Baki by attacking Yujiro and defending their son. But Yujiro doesn’t know the word pity, hence he gave her a bear hug till her back was broken in front of her own son, rendering her pitiful body dead. She gave her darling kid, Baki, a hug and sang him a lullaby before she lost all control of her life.
Baki’s animosity towards his father grew when his mother gave him her final hug.

Jack Hanma (July 18)
Son of Diane Niel and Yujiro Hanma, he is Baki’s half-brother. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Jack is just as anxious to wager on his father, Yujiro, as Baki is. Yujiro assaulted his mother, and as a result, he wanted to get stronger and stronger to take revenge. He supplemented his training with synthetic substances like steroids to fasten his development. He developed a larger body build as a result. He also changed into a caveman and started fighting like an animal.
A sibling rivalry exists between Baki and Jack as well. Jack was utterly enthralled by Kozue Matsumoto’s attractiveness. In addition, he did this to provoke his half-brother. Ultimately though, failure teaches a fighter to accept loss and adapt their fighting approach. Like what happened to his fight against Izuo Motobe. Fighting like an animal in the wild won’t work all the time. Using just his head and not his body is one of the lessons he learned about his failures. Developing his own Guoduo style and biting is his signature move.

As an anime fangirl, I feel that after seeing its cover on mangga and some scenes on TV, I’m not particularly interested in its storyline. I thought it was just about being strong and powerful, smashing people’s bodies, bloody battles, and showing amazing fights between Baki and his opponents. But I was hooked on this anime after seeing who Baki is and how hard he works to bring justice to his mother. His love for his mother and how he obeyed her even when she questioned his love for her. Despite all of his trials, how did he manage his anger. And lastly how to give respect to others especially to the one he is in a relationship with, his very supportive and adoring girlfriend, Kozue.
