I know that their father-children relationship isn’t that good, but this somehow reminds me of Mr. Kim and Minji’s relationship that’s not always flawless as what others would first think their relationship was.

Enisha has a lot going on, with assassins wanting to murder her all the time and those annoying remembrances of her former life. But she’s not in a hurry to go back to being the strong high sorcerer of the magical kingdom. And besides, being Hyperion’s best hope has its royal advantages. Being the beloved princess of the empire isn’t easy, but these topics will do.

I know you like some spark of romance and cute stuff. Other than a father-daughter relationship, this one could be very much like a story about fated lovers. Manager Kim really is similar to One More Try in some ways, for instance they both are centered with characters who really are good at handling business. I hate capitalism but businessmen’s auras really are way too cool.

I am referring to Sakia, which is called the “City of Purification.” There’s a train which brings criminals and thugs to this city twice a month. The criminals and thugs have their own memories erased, and while they are there, they think of themselves as immigrants. The only thing they can think of is Estancia. 

People would like to go to Estancia, but they are stuck in Sakia and can’t leave. It’s forbidden. Sure, they can get away though it’s only possible by getting on a train that  leaves Sakia daily. Is it a spark of hope for those former prisoners who want to get to Estancia and find out what’s going on there?

This manhwa really reminds me of the arts Manager Kim. So, if you’re really a fan of Manager Kim, this manhwa really is a must-read.

Yeonho can use his voice to make people do anything he wants, he can even kill people! The action scenes and art of this manhwa especially reminds me of Manager Kim.

Because of Yeonhoo’s amazing skills, he is now thought to have killed his parents. Yeonho says he does not have to kill anyone and asks Nohee for help getting away from the police. Do you think she trusts that guy who is accused of killing Yeonho and finds out the truth about what happened? Well, I have trust issues about this one, so it’s a no for me.

A good prosecutor, a new start, and punishment for the bad guy! Kim Hi Wu, a prosecutor with a hot temper, was killed and plunged into the sea while trying to chase the cruel leader of Korea. This scene really gives me some Manager Kim  real chases and actions that are really worth reading. 

Kim Hi Wu meets a Grim Reaper who then gave him a second chance at life as well as puts him back to when he was just 18 years old. Just as a student, Kim Hi Wu plans to punish Jo Tae Sup for being a bad leader.

 

7. Reckoning

Reckoning and Manager Kim has a completely inverse story, as the other one focuses on saving the life of his daughter while the other one has to kill someone so he can live. Well, Minji and Shihyun Lee are both in a life threatening situation so it basically still has some similarities.

Shihyun Lee has only one or two months left to live, however there is still a chance… for the appropriate cost. He must kill someone, not just anyone. He will have to kill himself, I mean his doppleganger.

Mr. Kim was quite popular for investigating the case of his own lost daughter. Well, our next MC has also become too fascinated about investigating those neuroscience-related cases. It’s really something an intelligent and cool person would do.

Lee Sewon seems to have been interested in neuroscience since he was young, but now he’s taken things to a whole new level. He has come up with a way to hack straightforwardly into the brains of the dead and get their memories.

When their private investigator asks Sewon to use his discovery to help solve crimes, he sees it as a chance to see how far he can go. But he doesn’t see the danger that’s coming. As Sewon gets involved in more and more investigations, he learns how risky the brain can be.

The life of our MC  begins with her ridiculously long name, Ariadna Lereg Ilestri Pre Agrigent, born to royalty as well as a center of attention, only because of a dangerous man: the truly insane autocrat king, merciless conqueror of the ten empires, horrible experience for all continents.. . and her dad?! Will our MC be able to deal with this crazy person? Do you also think Minji is Ariadna’s modern version?

Cloud Atlas might be familiar to some of you because this manhwa is based on a 2012 movie entitled Cloud Atlas. Well, the first few chapters of this manhwa reminds me of Manager Kim. Other than the art, the ambiance that you can feel upon reading really is similar to this manhwa.

It also has a lot of suspense, which renders something that you really care about the plot. Both of the main characters have clear reasons for doing what they do, which are to live normally for Ijin while save his daughter for Mr. Kim.

Ijin Yu’s parents died in a crash when he was eight years old. He was left alone in a foreign country and became a mercenary to continue living. After ten years, he goes back to Korea to see his family.

There’s plenty of food and shelter, and everything seems calm. However, Ijin might very well soon find out that getting through life is a different challenge. Ijin only has one year left of high school. Do you think he’ll make it through his last year?
