After Kurosaki Ichigo’s ordinary life gets disrupted by a Hollow, he is now in a predicament between life and death. As he meets the Soul Reaper named Kuchiki Rukia, he becomes what is called a Substitute Soul Reaper in order to protect his family and defeat the Hollow.
As a Soul Reaper, he gets involved in more situations he never thought of getting into such as defeating Hollows and gaining the trust of the other Soul Reapers in Soul Society. Everytime he overcomes every obstacle he faces, Ichigo unlocks more and more abilities making him more than what he is which will eventually lead him to discovering his true powers.
