The whole Korean Peninsula is under the threat of nuclear war. Enter Park, who is the nephew of the President as well as the assistant secretary at the Blue House. He’s thinking of ways to avoid the disaster that will follow the nuclear war. His life is also in danger. But first, the enemy forces decide to hold his pregnant wife hostage in North Korea. Now, Park must save his wife from the enemy forces as well as stop them from attacking the nation with nuclear bombs. Will he be able to avoid the impending destruction on such a huge level?

This manhwa opens in a country called Chronos which is quite similar to Ancient Rome. It introduces us to Temple Mercenaries, a group of die-hard soldiers-for-hire. Ares, Baroona, and Michael are three warriors that no one knows much about (We all love mysterious guys, don’t we). The three of them are quite mysterious and extremely strong. The story revolves around the adventures of the three of them.

Aegis tells us the story of two orphans named Jino and Izare who had been taken in by military forces. The two go through intense training and are living under harsh conditions. They miss their lives when they were not adopted by the military. Jino is weak. He can’t stand up for himself nor can survive extremely stressful situations. However, Izare is always there for him. He has promised Maria that he will always take care of Jino and protect him. Jino is able to escape from the cruel hands of the military but Izare remains there to train. Apart from the military elements, we also get to see some sci-fi elements in this manhwa that makes it even exciting to read.

It takes us to the near future where humans have no problem traveling to space. However, after waking up from his cold sleep, he finds out that 120 years have passed. The world had changed a lot and he joined the navy, thinking about how the peace had been disrupted. He also comes across his boss, Admiral Luis Maynard, who was also in cold sleep. Now, both of them become a part of the platoon that is led by a half-Elcro girl. How will the two survive this whole new era of war and bloodshed?

He had only a little amount of money and was a squad commander which was considered a not-so-high position in the military. He became lifeless, cold and numb because of all the bloodshed he had been witnessing on the battlefield.

However, one day, he finds himself in the past. Now, he has a new goal in his mind and with his knowledge from the future, he will work hard to become the best of the best.

The situations he has to face in high school are far more difficult for him than they were on the battlefield. How will he get adjusted to his new life as a wimpy high school boy?
