While this Manhwa’s plot may be slow at first, it ends up being a pretty fantastic story.

When I saw the title of this Manhwa, the first thing that came to me was “solo leveling.” Since they both had the word “solo.”

Apart from that, they seemed to have a lot more in common; You’ve got the OP protagonist, the gates, monsters and humans with extraordinary abilities; all sounds like solo leveling but in a different setting.

In a world where monsters exist, god has chosen a select few to awaken with special powers to combat them.

After a life-threatening incident, Park Do-Hyuk, a regular salaryman who has always wished to awaken someday, suddenly does and is granted various skills from his favorite game. 

Follow Park Do-Hyuk together with his newly discovered strength on a quest to exterminate all monsters.

I’m sure you already know the plot from the title: the sword king’s struggle to survive in a fantasy world riddled with monsters. You get the idea: there’s magic, sword fight, monsters, epic battles and incredible world-building. This is a must-read!

I can’t stop thinking about the anime Sword Art Online while reading this Manhwa. Except instead of being trapped in a game, Jee-Han life took on the appearance of one.

Jee-Han is a hardcore gamer who suddenly started to see the world in a video game-like setting. Now we follow him as he uncovers the mysteries of this power.

Slow but ingenious, this Manhwa’s plot focuses more on each character, which I really appreciate.

Who exactly is this woman? And does he get to meet her?

Fortunately, he returned to his world after 4000 years, but in a different body; The body of Frei Blake, the lowest and least talented student at the famous Westroad Academy for magicians.

Lucas strives to return to the highest power levels and exact his retribution after going from the strongest wizard in history to the weakest.

His life was a mess till he found Pagma’s book, a legendary class item in the game that completely changed his life.

Unlike other RPG plots that take place only inside the games, Overgeard stands out by taking place in both the game and in the real world.

One of the most satisfying revenge stories I’ve seen in a long time!

The story begins with the MC, Yeon-woo, learning about his twin brother’s death in obelisk, a world where various realms and dimensions meet; His brother was an adventurer who was murdered trying to conquer the Sun God’s Tower.

Discovering the truth, Yeonwoo sets out to climb the tower and unravel the secrets surrounding his brother’s death.
