If I had to compare it to an anime, Hive would be the Chimera Arc of HxH. So, filled with OP characters but it sucks. The Arc, not the manhwa.

The MC of this Korean manhwa had a normal life, he was the manager of some company and a father to a loving family.

In one night, his life turned upside down. The Earth reverted back to its ancient primitive state. Nature reclaimed its status as Queen and the Kings are humanoid bees determined to eradicate the pest that destroyed the planet, humanity.

The bug apocalypse began. Humans were being devoured left and right, they were taken by surprise and powerless, the genocide was gruesome.

Every human was fighting for himself, they tossed their morals aside and decided that any method is acceptable for survival, even using their own kind as bait.

However, the MC is different, there is still one thing that is more important than himself, his family. Can he get to them before they turn into bee food?

Demons everywhere, distorted monsters at each corner, and every time they laid eyes on her, you could see the drool dripping out of their mouth. Yuck!

It was obvious, they all saw her as a delicious snack. She’s still alive only because they haven’t decided yet who will have the honor to dig in first. But the decision will be made sooner or later.

She was finally attacked, but some mysterious savior repelled the threat. She was safe for now, but she won’t stay that way for long. She must stick to her savior at all costs but what if he is just as dangerous as those creatures?

Who cares, he is handsome…

This Korean Webtoon revolves around the Seven Deadly Sins, NOT the anime. Seven different murder cases popped up but they seemed to be related somehow. Each victim looked like he had been punished and each one was guilty of a certain deadly sin.

Humanity is being tested and the culprit is watching, he is watching every single one of us. Maybe the next victim will be you! No one is safe anymore, we are all guilty in one way or another.

The police, pff, they are useless, not one clue, they didn’t put their hands on one miserable clue. The trail grew colder and colder, there is no hope. Will we have to live with the terror for the rest of our lives?

A mysterious crime happened. Who is the victim? What’s the crime about? How did it happen? No one knows, they just know that they are not out of the woods yet.

There is a bigger picture here, something more is coming, something even more gruesome. And somehow, those five friends are related to it. Thrown against their will in the middle of the action, their lives are in grave danger.

In order to survive, they have to depend on each other. But who knows what happens in the head of terrified people. To ensure their own survival, so-called friends are now nothing more than disposable tools.

They can’t trust anyone, they don’t know who their enemy is. Their chance of survival looks miserably low. And the doll part has yet to come hehe…

The guy might be a person she interacts with every day and she won’t even know.

Here we have a common case of the Oedipus complex. Isaac, a blood thirsty vampire, lives alone deep inside his forest.

He eats every human that dares disturb his domain, however, he showed mercy to a girl that had the same fiery red hair then his beloved mother. The girl’s name was Livana.

As if things weren’t disturbing enough, it turned out that Livana’s life was also kind of a mess. Her entire family rejected her because of her hair color, as if that matters at all. 

There is a guy completely obsessed with her to an abnormal level and believes he is the only one that can love her. Cherry on top of the cake, her brother has unnatural feelings towards her. See, the story wouldn’t be complete without a pinch of incest.

The MC of this Korean Manhwa, well, he had that eerie feeling but he brushed it off thinking he was imagining things.

However, when the light went out, he was not alone, there was a shadow in the room. The lights came back and poof! It disappeared.

If that ever happens to me I would sell the house, get out of the country to make sure I don’t get cursed or something like that. But with my luck, I’m sure the shadow is gonna follow, I’m just that likable.

Crimes done with the hands of a woman hit differently. They are darker, more sinister, and shockingly disturbing especially when seeing a beautiful elegant lady with a bright innocent smile licking the blood of a blade.

The main character of this Webtoon, I believe you guessed it, is a woman. The girl is very strange, very peculiar. See, she suffers from Mysophobia, the extreme fear of germs. Because of that, she shuns all her family and friends and walks through life alone.

One day, she realizes that she was being stalked. Instead of panicking, she felt a weird sense of security knowing she was always ALWAYS being watched. And we thought Mysophobia was her loose screw.

Now it’s the stalker we need to worry about. I mean all he does is look at nice stuff like a creep. I don’t think he would ever imagine witnessing his target committing an even greater crime than he.

Or maybe he finds it beautiful to see his woman clean up a bloody house and dispose of a freshly killed human while wearing a nice apron.

If I have to compare this Manhwa, I would maybe compare it to The Walking Dead or World War Z. So you got it, our theme for this story is “Zombies”.

An extremely contagious and terrifying virus has broken out on Earth. Any human that’s contaminated will turn into a brain-hungry monster with no mind nor consciousness.

The entire world turned into a war zone. Instead of fighting against the threat, the humans are at each other’s throats so they can secure food and water for themselves.

Millions are killed, eaten, or turned every day. At that rate humankind won’t last long, they won’t last long at all…

We have an interesting cast here. Three main protagonists are on deck. The first one is a young boy with the ability to see dead people. The boy teams up with an officer that can smell evil.

The two MCs are searching for someone, a friend, and their investigation leads them to a woman, a stuntwoman to be exact.

Together, they start digging even deeper into the missing case mystery and end up revealing a cover-up, the cover-up of a gruesome and twisted crime.

The situation turned out to be much more dire than expected and their friend got himself into some really dark and disturbing stuff.

When they will be faced with real evil, will they stand their ground or abandon their friend to his horrifying fate?

As the story unfolds, as our understanding of the story widens, the image of the family that started off looking like the bad guy changed.

They seem to be the ones suspicious of the intruder, but why would that be? And the pig boy, what’s up with the pig boy?

So who is the real villain? Maybe all of them know, maybe none of them, that may happen, no? Ok, no, not in a horror story.

Their time came to make a grand comeback when agents from S.E.P.A found them to request their assistance in the final battle against the monsters.

Like I said, a bit cliché, but boys, boys wait till you see the maid and you’ll understand.

He bought an apartment and isolated himself from society, beginning living like a recluse. His time in complete solitude took a toll on him, on his mind.

He’d get random nose bleeds and hear intense scary voices in his head. When he got out of his cocoon he realized that he was not the only one.

People who would succumb to the voices would turn into terrifying monsters enraged and hungry for blood.

The world is now filled with them, guess it’s gonna be easier to kill himself now.

 

7. Delusional Boy

He was in class and another delusion was triggered, all the students in his class were at each other’s throats, and the school turned into a pandemonium.

However, that’s okay it will stop, it’s just another episode he thought. However, the hard truth set in, what was happening was real and the blood he was covered in was real.

It took time for the shock to set in, he couldn’t move, couldn’t talk, couldn’t breathe. The perpetrator escaped leaving him behind as the prime and only suspect of the crime.

He was found guilty and was about to be thrown in jail, but thanks to a certain turn of events, he escaped and is now out for revenge.

They will use augmented reality technology to sniff out all the horrid things that are living alongside you in your own house.

Creatures unlike any others may be stalking you, taking a shower with you, touching you among other creepy stuff. 

Can you still move on with your life as you did before after witnessing the terrors that are lurking beside you every day? I certainly wouldn’t.

Ghost stories are creepy, but in fact, that really depends on who and how they are told, the ambiance is also a pretty important factor.

So imagine, a real ghost, the narrator of the most horrifying tales, tales that make even them lose sleep if they were able to sleep, of course.

I’m sure the scariest one of them all would be about some human forced to open a door to actually get through. What a nightmare!

Behind her noble appearance and incomparable talent, the award-winning actress is hiding her corrupted merciless personality that trampled on lives, actual real living blood pumping bodies, to get where she is today.

Nothing I am saying is a metaphor if I wasn’t clear enough before. So yeah, we’ve got ourselves a beautiful murderer. And I’m sure some of you would be okay to die struck by her soft hands.

It is truly adorable to see the unsocial creepy guy finally discover what true love is because a nice lady decided to acknowledge he existed.

And the nice lady regretted what she did the second after. Creepy people should be left alone, they are creepy for a reason after all. And our MC here well, he really has a pretty good reason for being creepy, and he can’t be blamed.

First of all, his disturbed father threw him from the third story of the hospital. Second of all, his lunatic father forced him to become his accomplice. Third of all, his deranged father abuses him every day. Wow! talk about daddy issues.

Oh yeah, accomplice to what you should ask? Well, the guy is actually a serial killer and his son has the crucial job to get the woman he likes into the house. What a nice strong bond they have here.

And there is a girl somewhere in the mix as well who got dragged into their little playtime.

 

2. Jack Frost

There is an adorable Disney movie called Jack Frost that I love and this manhwa completely ruined the magical image that I had in my head.

Junoa, our MC for this ride, just transferred to a new school. When she arrived, she felt that something was wrong but brushed it off as nothing.

Guys a piece of advice, always trust your instincts, when you feel something like that, just run like your life depends on it, because it probably is.

Okay, we went sideways, her feeling was on point cuz that school was nothing but normal. It’s a school for monsters and lucky her, she arrived at the peak of the action, there is a war going on.

And guess who is now the star of the show, the weak human who just arrived, or more precisely, she’s the snack gift of the winners.

Gangnam opened his eyes. There is nothing but darkness around him, he can see nothing. His eyes slowly adapted and he can see bodies, hundreds of bodies. Oh my god, they are all dead, DEAD I tell you.

He gets up and just starts running screaming for help. He gets outside, there is no one, not a soul, no animals, and even the buzz of the insects is gone.

Where is everybody? The cars disappeared, there’s no power anymore, and the sky, the beautiful sky is gone!
