The first Captain Yamamoto receives a threat of war from a group who call themselves Wandenreich, they gave him 5 days before the war would start leaving him and his dying vice-captain before he could strike them.

Ichigo also encounters a mysterious villain whom he thought to be an arrancar, the villain also has the power to prevent them from using bankai. The final arc is a treat for the fans of the franchise, seeing Ichigo, Inoue and the others in a better animation, makes the wait worth it! Get ready for an intense climatic battle, as the Shinigami and Ichigo face the greatest and strongest enemy that they ever encounter.

If you’re a fan of sports anime, then you will surely love Haikyuu!!. It is an anime based on Furudate Haruichi’s manga from Shonen Jump Weekly. A volleyball anime that centers on Shouyou Hinata who lacks height but was inspired to play volleyball after watching the famous Little Giant, who despite his height, possess amazing skills on the court. 

The jolly young boy was eager, and in Karasuno High School, the alma mater of his idol. Hinata believes that this is the stepping stone for dream to become a pro volleyball player.  Haikyuu introduces you to many characters that are lovable indeed! 

Together with Tobio, king of the court. A short-tempered person who is arrogant but sees the potential of Hinata, and the other members of Karasuno take down different schools on their path to win the nationals!

Next on our list is an isekai entrée of the slime main character! This follows the 37 years old corporate worker named Satoru Mikami who died from the street after being stabbed. Satoru woke up in the unknown and discovered that he is now a slime.

But despite being a weak-ass being in the new world, he was bestowed the ability to absorb anything and gain the abilities and even appearance. As Satoru wanders the cave testing his abilities, he encounters a sealed dragon named Veldora. He befriends the beast and promises to help him escape.

Now named Rimuru Tempest, the slime main characters embark the journey to a new world where he meets different creatures and races as he aims to avoid the boring past that he once had as a human.

The Manga published by Kawakami Taiki and Fuse under Shounen Sirius is still on-going. I highly recommend this award-winning manga and you should watch the anime too!

Another action-packed anime that is also based on manga is the super hero anime series called MY HERO ACADEMIA. This is a show that explores what it means to be a hero, and how villains are made. In a world with 80% of the population possessing amazing powers called quirks, 20% of the population are just regular human beings.This is the story created by Horikoshi Kouhei, it is about a young boy who aspires to be a hero, however the world seems unfair as he finds out that he is quirkless.  But despite it, he still inspires to be one and is enthusiastic when it comes to hero stuff.

One day he encounters an opportunity that will change his life, he discovers the secret of his favorite hero, All Might and becomes the successor of his power.  The ONE FOR ALL! The manga is inspired from superhero genre of America, the story might be childish for some but it is inspiring especially to young children. The amazing thing about the manga is how the author views a world with super powers, and how it fractures our world as time passes by.

I think it will be only childish to a narrowed person, but if you take time and examine every element of it. Then you will see that my hero academia isn’t all about fighting and action but rather a fractured society mirrored into our own reality.

 

9. Blue Lock

This is a new anime that is still currently airing, based on the work of Kaneshiro Muneyuki. A fresh series that has been hyped up for years back when the manga grew its popularity. Japan’s current state of soccer is lacking something that only the Jinpachi Ego knows what it was. Blue Lock is a government program to train the best egotistic striker that could win their country a world cup. The goal of the program is for 300 talented strikers coming from high school around their country to compete in an isolated room.

The remaining player will be crowned as the team striker of Japan and the defeated ones will not be allowed to compete for the national team forever. With high risk in place, who among the talented strikers will continue the opportunity to participate in the program in order to become the best striker in Japan? Yoichi Isagi is one of the strikers who was invited in the risky project.

 He failed to win the previous tournament after passing the ball to his teammate, this gave doubts to himself but he was appalled after Jinpachi Ego tells them that a striker must have ego.  If you are looking for a unique sport anime that is still fresh then this one is the one for  

 

8. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean

This anime deserve to be on top, otherwise people will raise their pitchforks and fire if Jojo is not here. This manga is written and drawn by the bizarre mind of Araki Hirohiko.  Currently the anime adapted Part 6 which follows the story of Jolyne Kuujo, daughter of Joutarou.

She was unfairly sentenced for the crimes she did not commit. Jolyne landed on Infamous Green Dolphine Street Jail. Joutarou, her father tried to bail her out and escape, however a mysterious villain appeared and murdered his father. In order to find the truth about it, Jolyne decided to stay to potentially save his father.

She must retrieve the memory disc of his father in order to save him. However the restriction from the prison willl make her mission challenging to complete. But it is  Jojo, and therefore they never back down and they will do it with style.  You can start with Part 1 or watch it anyways you want, honestly it doesn’t matter since it’s easier to catch up and understand the story and every part features a new main character.

 

7. Horimiya

We have action and fantasy, but now it’s time to feature a romance anime that is based on manga. Horimiya is the anime I’m talking about. This is an adapted manga of Daisuke Hagiwara used to be a 4-koma webcomic. If you are old already, then you have seen the first version of Horimiya.

But now we have better animation and complete 13 episodes of the anime adaptation. The story is all about the relationship of the hardworking sister named Hori Kyouko and the quiet boy named Miyamura Izuma. The fateful encounter brought the two together, telling each other secrets. To polar opposite individuals sharing a bond.

How will their relationship grow? Will their differences  hinder their relationship?  A highschool love story that you should definitely check out!  It doesn’t have the borderline cliché but rather mirrors a real-life relationship. I can speak for myself because my relationship relates to this anime.  

 

6. Demon Slayer

Of course, demon slayer has to be here! After all we’re talking about the TOP ANIME BASED ON MANGA. The anime rose to it’s fame when the anime adaptation was first released. Written and drawn by Gotouge Koyoharu, the 26-episode anime follows the story Tanjiro and his path of becoming a demon slayer.

He was a hardworking boy who shouldered his family when his father died. One day, he went down to the village to sell charcoal but when he came back, he saw his family slaughtered by a demon. The sole survivor was Nezuko, her sister who turned into a demon.

Tanjiro swore for vengeance and joined the group of Demon Slayer Corps. However, joining a demon slayer corps might be a risky move considering that his sister is already a demon? How will Tanjiro face the danger that lies ahead? And will he ever get the sweet revenge he wants against the demon who slew his entire family.  This is a top-notch anime to watch, music, animation and the shounen story where the villain’s backstory will make you cry.

This is a fresh anime that climbs its way to popularity, such as the hit comedy series Spy x Family. This is a story about the family Forger, a fake family with members keeping secrets from each other.  The Forger family was built under code Project Stryx as a task to Twilight, who is known to be one of the best spies in Westalis.

The mission was to gain information from an important politician named Donovan Desmond however, the dude rarely appears. The only hint they have is the academy, and therefore Twilight’s goal is to create a perfect family that will  infiltrate the academy to gain connection to Desmond.  Loid, the father of the family, was a spy from a foreign.  Yor, an assassin known to be the Thorn Princess and their daughter Anya an esper who can read minds.

This is a family-friendly comedy with action that will make your heart wakuwaku! Tatsuya Endou, the manga author, did well in creating a shop that is good for all ages! You can’t really hate the enemy, unless you hate kids xD.

 

4. Naruto

Another anime that deserves to have a spot in the Top ANIME LIKE MANGA is Naruto. Naruto has a demon sealed inside of him; therefore, he possessed a threat to the people around him. He grew up as a hype kid who likes to get attention, and despite the treatment he gets from people, the boy aims to be a Hokage in the future.

However the road is long for him, as he takes on different missions and fights various enemies of the village. Together, with Sakura the girl he likes and Sasuke the popular kid and class along with their teacher Kakashi. Team 7 goes on a different adventure.  Naruto is a ninja anime that promotes friendship and believing in yourself. It will take you the long journey of the lonely boy as he ventures to become the hokage he dreamt off.

If you haven’t seen the anime or read the manga, then now is the time. This is an anime to follow, because you will see the emphasis in character development. Set in the world Ninja and Jutsu, this is action with adventure that possesses nostalgia to a lot of people.

 

3. Kaguya-sama: Love is War

The two are already well-known individuals in their school, being top representatives in Shichinin Academy. Who will confess first? What kind of methods will these two go, just to keep their pride and honor in place?

If you’re interested in watching a show that centers on difficulties of confession, even though it’s quite extreme.  This is an amazing show and not your typical rom com. It is time to turn on the internet and watch Kaguya-sama: Love is War. Who will emerge victorious? FIND IT OUT!

Fresh as an apple picked up yet at the top with five stars already. This is a hyped-up anime that is finally given a manga adaptation. Fans have been waiting for this for too long, and now we have it. If you are curious, Chainsaw man is your typical shounen! If you like gore, then there’s no way you won’t like this anime. We have a main character who has a simple dream, to get a girlfriend, eat meals, and have a shelter.

But the reality he lives in makes it harder to achieve it. Was left debts by his father, he was forced to be a Devil Hunter to pay it off. Despite selling his eyeballs and one of his balls down there, it wasn’t enough to get him out of misery.

The only thing he has is his pet devil named Pochita whom he uses as a weapon. After being killed by the Yakuza who made a contract with the devil, his pet grants him a second life and gives him power in order for him to achieve his dream.

Now under a woman named Makima who fed him and showed him kindness that he never had. Deji is set to reach his dream. He is now working for the Public Safety Devil Hunter Organization, as a special squad of Makima.

1. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

This is an anime based on manga that feels like a crime if I don’t add this on this list, let alone push it away from number one (even though this isn’t ranked). There you have it folks! FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD. Fullmetal Alchemist follows the story of Edward and Alphonse, just two brothers who did do-not-try not this at home experimentation in an attempt to bring their dead mother back.

This results in Alphonse’s body disintegrating while Edward suffers from losing a leg. In order to keep Alphonse’s soul, Edward gave up his arm., Binding Alphonse into bulky armor.  The tragic brothers were rescued by their neighbors Pinako and Winry, the granddaughter. 

Winry, who is a prodigy in bio-mech engineering, was able to create a prosthetic limb for Edward. As the two grew up, they were set on a quest to find the Philosopher’s stone in hopes their body would be returned to normal. 

It has been MAL’S Number 1 Anime for a long time! And it is highly rated both in manga and anime. IF you haven’t read the manga yet, then let’s go.
