The story goes on about a boy named Hiro Hiyorimi who died because he was yeeted by a van, but was resurrected because of a girl named Hime, who is a vampire turned into a Phoenix Princess. Yes, if you’re thinking that she turned him into a half-immortal servant, yeah she definitely did.

If you’re wondering if he is killable, then, yes, he is. What makes him unkillable is not his strength, but the blood that Princess Hime provided him. So, imagine if he dies, he just has to chug a little amount of blood from the princess to be alive again.

Although it is an old series, the plot and character developments are interesting—even the animation is quite good too. Further, you would be able to see how Hiro slowly becomes loyal to his master, which is something to look forward to.

This series tackles how their relationship came to be and what kind of challenges they have to overcome together as a couple. You wish that was you too, huh… me too.

One of the biggest fears of Holo is that their life as a couple will just be too uneventful and comfortable to the point that they won’t be able to create memorable experiences together. She wasn’t afraid of outliving him; instead, she feared that there would be any strong memories to recall once Lawrence was gone.

Although it wasn’t explicitly mentioned that Holo is immortal she still lived for a couple of centuries, so, we can say she is immortal, plus she’s a goddess. Also, her powers revolve around providing wheat to the villagers. Furthermore, I can’t really say whether she is killable or unkillable since the anime series leans more towards the genre of romance.

Another classic anime that is part of the recommendation list. Blade of Immortal is an action/adventure packed anime that revolves around a particular ronin named Manji. If you have watched this before, you would probably know the challenges the main character has to go through in order to achieve his goals, which is to die.

This series is set in Japan during the Mid-Tokugawa Shogunante period where the main character Manji was cursed to live in immortality. To regain his mortality back, he has to kill exactly 1000 evil people. We can now probably assume that he is unkillable too. Thus, he began his journey to hunt for evil people so that he could regain his mortality.

For the plot line and the character development in this series, this anime is ranked 18th. I believe that this is the most appropriate ranking for this anime because, I think that there are already a lot of anime that are quite similar to this.

17. Ajin: Demi-Human

This anime is quite well known amongst weebs who are into the gory genre, quite similar to Tokyo Ghoul. However, the key difference between these two popular anime is that the characters from Ajin are unkillable.

So far, in the anime series, there haven’t been any ways to kill an Ajin because of their ability to regenerate. Hence, this is what makes them immortal.

The main character Kei Nagai is a high school student that turned into an Ajin when he experienced an accident (he was hit by truck-kun) that nearly took his life. This indicated how he was reborn into an Ajin, and this took a turn in his teenage life.

The story starts with Ayumu describing him as a very unlucky person. With that, he was murdered by a serial killer (I know right? It’s so random) and later he was resurrected by Eucliwood, a necromancer. Thus, turning him into a zombie. Which makes him immortal and unkillable in a way since he is an undead.

This series is a mix of action, drama, fantasy, romance, and supernatural. Since it’s an old series, you will feel the difference in its animation before and today. But the story line, plot twists, and relationship amongst the characters are what make this anime unique from others. In addition, you would find yourself becoming more curious as you watch more episodes.

Since Yuji is a mystes, he is considered to be immortal and quite powerful. He possesses an almost infinite amount of the power of existence. But, I can’t really say that he is entirely killable, but he is indeed strong.

Kamisama Kiss is a very popular anime that even weebs who haven’t watched this yet probably knows the plot and is most likely part of their (maybe you too) watchlist. This is a romance anime about a Fox Demon (or Yokai) who serves as a familiar to Nanami Momozono (the female protagonist).

This anime makes you wanna be in a relationship too, it brings your singleness to light.

Tomoe, who is the male lead in this anime, is a Yokai who is considered to be on par with the Gods. His strength, charms, and good looks are something most Gods are envious of and are feared by most Yokais. Given that he is quite a strong yokai, he is somewhat unkillable in a way. But in the end, he turned himself into a human to be with his lover, Nanami.

This anime series has a nice storyline, but I find it quite common for any other typical romance-fantasy anime (but it’s because of the cliche that makes you so sure that they’re gonna end up together). Although, the plot twists of the story and the character development are quite unique and satisfying, it’s a type of anime that you could consider a comfort series.

Thus, I ranked Kamisama Kiss in 13th since this series is fun and has its own comedic puns too.

This anime dabbles in the perspective of an Oni Demon named Hozuki who works for the King of Hell, Enma. Hozuki’s daily life consists of helping in resolving issues in hell.

As you go along with this series, you’ll find it quite interesting how there are different types of hell that people have to go through. And in each religion or country, they will experience a type of “hell” that is based on their beliefs and culture. Plus, there were a few episodes that featured Satan and Beelzebub on it, they were touring around Japan.

Since Hozuki is someone who can be considered a high ranking official in hell, there are a lot of demons who are afraid of him. He may look tall and slender, but he is known to be a very strong demon, which makes him hard to kill.

This series is a mix of gore and comedy at the same time, which is very different from other anime. Also, in each episode you will be engrossed in the plot and its side puns. Hence, I rated this 12th in the rankings.

If you’re wondering if it’s truck-kun again that transported the main character to the other world. Well, well, well, you are wrong. It’s not truck-kun but he just suddenly got yeeted to another world for no apparent reason.

This anime series revolves around Subaru Natsuki, who keeps on dying and reviving again before the situation (how he died) occurs. There weren’t any specific reasons as to why he constantly revived when he experienced death. Aside from that, he simps so much for a certain noble named Emilia, the female protagonist (Our boy is a certified simp).

Overall, this anime series is a part of the recommendation list. Since, we could assume that Subaru is immortal and unkillable in a way (since there isn’t any information as to how he can be killed). Although he isn’t that strong, he always creates a solution to his problems, even if he has to die and revive all over again.

This anime series is about a prince named Xie Lian, who became a God and ascended to heaven three times. And the Spirit King Hua Cheng who waited for Xie Lian since his first ascension. This series is quite captivating in a way since the story is in line with mythology and fantasy.

Also, if you are interested in Chinese culture and their beliefs, you will be able to get a glimpse of them in this anime. Another thing to look forward to is how attractive the characters are. I tell you everyone is so beautiful, and when I say beautiful, I mean 100/10 BEAUTIFUL!

Not to mention, the graphics and storyline are something to boot! As well as the loyalty and the patience Hua Cheng has for his lover, I mean, he waited for Xie Lian for a very long time just to be together with him (wanna hug that pillow now? Because I’m hugging mine). Overall, this anime was ranked 9th since this series is quite interesting and, aside from the romance, you will be able to learn a thing or two about the Chinese myths and legends.

Elias Ainsworth, the male protagonist in this anime, is a non-human mage, which technically deems him an immortal. He is married to the female protagonist, Chise Hatori, who is a Sleigh Beggy. This is a romantic-fantasy series wherein, you can see how both of the main characters are able to slowly fall for each other.

One way to describe this anime is that I wish I was his bride. Moving on, this anime involves magic, since Elias is known as a skilled mage. So far, there aren’t any possibilities of him getting killed, which means he is immortal.

Hence, the rank of this anime is 8th, I think that the details of this anime are on point as well as the plot. Also, this is something I would surely recommend to a friend who is interested in the fantasy-romance trope.

7. Black Butler

Black Butler, a classic anime that most weebs grew up with (I don’t know about you but I watched this when I was a kid). If you are into mystery, dark comedy, fantasy and the supernatural in a Victorian era setting, well, this series is something you should add to your watchlist!

One of the main characters is Sebastian Michaelis, a demon whom Ciel Phantomhive (also one of the main protagonists) made a contract with, in exchange for his soul. With this, the devilishly handsome demon turned into a butler to serve his new master.

It is a given that he is immortal (since he is a demon, after all) but not entirely unkillable. Even if he is a demon, he still has a soul. Which means that there is a possibility that he could be killed. Although, I doubt that there could be anyone who can possibly kill him since he is overpowered and smart.

Hence, I ranked this anime highly. Aside from it being a classic series, the plot is something you should look forward to, as well as the chemistry and bond between him and his master.

Similar to the anime Overlord and The Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime, this anime series also dwells to the isekai-genre and has its own “spice”. The main protagonist, Komuko, is immortal, overpowered, and is considered a monster or an enemy among the humans.

If you’re wondering what the “spice” is in this anime, yeah you may have probably guessed it by now or not… The main character got reincarnated as a Spider (I know right? Of all kinds of insects, why a spider?).

A little spoiler about our cute spider Komuko: she is actually the one and only existing species called Zana Horowa. Which grants her the skill of immortality through the continuous process of evolution, which makes her unkillable.

Although, it is understandable why there are people who aren’t quite interested in this anime since the character is an actual spider (but Komuko is a cute spider). I must say, this series is quite underrated, but don’t be fooled, as you’ve actually struck a gold mine with this anime.

The plot is actually very interesting, as well as the comedic puns each episode has (I tell you, you’ll be laughing while watching each episode), and how the characters are portrayed is something to boot! This means that he is immortal and, at the same time, unkillable. It would be a suicide mission for one to try and target him because you’d be the one who’s probably gonna end up dead (like his enemies). I mean, that fine man has a lot of skills up on his sleeves and is quite cunning too.

I rated this anime as part of the top 5 because of its art and quality in terms of the animation. Each expression and action of the characters were portrayed smoothly. And if you haven’t watched this series yet, I seriously recommend you start watching, it’s worth it!

If you’re wondering if he is immortal, then yes, Ainz Ooal Gown is immortal. This is because he is an undead skeleton, meaning, he can’t die. Even if he got attacked by a group of people who worked at the church, it wouldn’t affect him much. Rather, he is too overpowered; he has his overpowered followers and his own ancient rings that could help enhance his power, which means that he is unkillable.

In conclusion, I ranked this anime quite high because I highly recommend it to my readers. Aside from the plot, character developments, art, and animation, I think you’ll be able to learn a lot about how the “greater good” is portrayed in this series.

The story is about Yato, a minor God who wants to be acknowledged, worshiped, and recognized among the people of Japan. As you can see, he is immortal but not necessarily unkillable. In the anime, if a God dies and does not have any followers/believers they wouldn’t be reincarnated again as a God.

In terms of its rating, I ranked it as part of the top 3. I know it’s quite biased of me, but deal with it, I like this anime WAHAHA! From the plot, to the background stories of each character, the animation, its humor and plot twists. This anime is a gold mine and will surely make you laugh and captivate you with its chemistry between characters.

For the top 2, Beelzebub! This is also one of the best classic anime where the main character is immortal. I kid you not, you’ll be engrossed in each and every episode of this anime. It’s too entertaining to the point that you would be hurting your stomach from laughing too much.

This anime is a huge gem that is packed with comedy, slice of life, action, and adventure. Not to mention, the main plot, background story, the development of each character, and the animation are all things you would be looking forward to. Let’s not forget, the chemistry and bond between Berubo and Oga is the cherry on top of this anime.

A little about our cute main character, his real name is Kaiser de Emperana Beelzebub IV, or what we refer to him as Baby Beel or Berubo. He is the son of Beelzebub III, the Great Demon Lord, and Iris, his mother. Technically, Baby Beel is the Prince of Hell.

This means that he is immortal and unkillable. With the help of his “human dad” (If you’re curious why he has two dads, then watch the anime) Oga Tatsumi, who is a well known delinquent and is seen as the strongest. They began their journey of growth and bonding, to be the strongest!

You might probably know this series since it’s quite famous and there was a game (there were two games) that was developed because of this anime series. A quick summary of this anime is that it is also an isekai-type of anime wherein, the main character, Rimuru Tempest, gets yeeted to another world and is turned into slime. With that, he made a dragon friend named Veldora, where he ate him (using his Predator Skill) so he could be resurrected again, and this began his journey to live a peaceful life in the new world.

You might be wondering as to why he is part of the list of immortal anime MC. Well, our boy or girl (by the way, he is genderless) Rimuru is actually a Magic Borne, which means that his slime body is made out of magic. Further, he is constantly evolving.

Furthermore, in the light novel TenSura, Rimuru becomes an Immortal God, where he can create and destroy universes. So much for wanting to have a peaceful life. Now he turned into Thanos. Through the snap of his fingers, he could just “yeet or unyeet” any universe. As you can see, he is unkillable to the extent that trying to kill him would be an actual suicide mission since he is too overpowered.

In conclusion, I ranked this anime quite high since it’s nearly impossible to kill this character. I highly recommend this anime because of its plot, attractive characters, and graphics.
