These are next level tactics that can be hard for common people to understand. Makoto is truly a mastermind, his mind works fast, making him plan things impulsively. Most of his tactics work. Not only is he a mastermind but he’s quite psychotic too considering how he said to Kuroko that he loves to see people suffer. Are you scared yet? Now, we have the main character of the anime. Tetsuya Kuroko is a gifted basketball player who plays fair and square. He’s very passionate when it comes to basketball. Kuroko is a strong player who likes to put his friends and team before anything. Even during matches, he keeps everyone in mind and gives other members chances of dunking basketball into the basket. He’s a sweet guy who might give you “cold” guy vibes at first. When you get to know him, you will discover his soft and warm-hearted side. Tetsuya hates when someone uses dirty tricks. Kagetora Aida is a former basketball player and a protective father. He’s Riko’s father who makes sure that she’s safe no matter where she is. I mean, it’s understandable why he’s so protective of his daughter. It’s because she’s managing a boys’ basketball team. Genta Takeuchi is Kaijo High’s coach. He strongly believes in his team’s strengths. Genta tends to put his faith in the team members. One thing that he doesn’t like is playing against weak teams. Unlike most players who seek victory by bringing down weaker teams than them, Tomoki is different who wants to play matches against next level teams. It’s always the captains who are very passionate about Basketball, right? Not everyone can become a captain after all. A captain is given huge responsibilities. You just have to be really passionate about it. Anyways, Kousuke Wakamatsu is passionate about basketball and is a captain of Too Academy. He tends to get very excited when a basketball match starts. Sometimes this captain might come off as annoying since he shouts a lot whenever he’s excited. At first, he was known as a short-tempered guy but his personality changed quite a lot when he became a captain.
Taisuke Otsubo

Taisuke Otsubo was the captain of Shutok. He retired after the Winter Cup. When it comes to his personality, he’s responsible since he has lived as a captain. He deeply cared for his team members and looked after them as well. Even during matches, he made sure to support those who needed it. Even when someone fell down, he offered them his hand to pick them up. That’s what true athletes do, yes! They inspire and help others. Hiroshi Fukuda

Hiroshi is a calm and serious individual. He’s a 16 years old basketball player who’s always ready to offer his help to others. Even though he’s serious and looks a bit cold, he still helps others. It’s important for athletes to have a nice body, right? Just like a typical athlete, our boy Eikichi Nebuya has a big and masculine body. He’s the type of person who would do overeating to gain muscle strength. According to this guy, everything is possible when you have muscles. Because of his macho-appearance, he’s very prideful. I mean yes sure, you have muscles and you can flex them but come on! You don’t have to make lean guys feel bad about themselves. Imagine a guy who’s powerful but shy, ain’t that like the perfect mixture? He’s a member of Seirin High’s basketball team who doesn’t really like unwanted attention towards him. That’s why he doesn’t really talk to anybody and just minds his own business. This guy reminds me of a character from Haikyuu who also loved cats and was quiet too. It was Kenma! Just like Kenma, Satoshi really loves cats. He tries to play with their small paws. Isn’t that adorable?
Satsuki Momoi

We all love pink-haired waifu, don’t we? Just like that, Satsuki Momoi is one of the pink haired waifus of all time. She’s just too pretty to be a manager. Yes, she’s a manager of Too Academy’s basketball team. I bet all the athletes love her and try to pick up on her. Well, she’s got a flirtatious and bubbly personality. Junpei Hyuuga is the captain of Seirin High who’s also known as a shooting guard. Being a captain brings about tons of responsibilities. Just like that, he’s reliable, responsible, and a prideful captain. Junpei is a perfectionist who makes sure nothing goes wrong during a match. Sometimes he might come off as a rude captain. But that’s just his intensity since he wishes to see his team succeed. But then again, pressurising your team is never a good idea. Whenever he cracks his neck, he says that it’s a sign Seirin’s going to win the match. He’s such a fit captain who can predict things beforehand.
Koichi Kawahara

Koichi Kawahara is one of the junior students who plays as a small forward in court from Seirin. He’s such a hilarious person who loves to goof around and with his goofy side, he cheers up the whole team. Even when he isn’t playing, he’s cheering on his teammates. Kensuke Fukui

Shoichi Imayoshi

Shoichi Imayoshi is a senior student who studies in third grade. This guy has two personalities. One of his personalities includes being polite with others. Shoichi is a kind person who can read the minds of other people. His other persona includes getting the information of other people by reading their minds. So, Shoichi is quite intuitive. If you see this guy on the streets, you better hide in your sheets. Though overall, he’s a great guy.
Papa Mbaye Siki

Papa Mbaye Siki is one of the tallest characters in Kuroko’s Basketball. He’s an exchange student from Senegal. He’s very prideful about his height and thinks having a tall height is the first thing that matters when playing basketball. Is that true though? Do we really have to be super tall in order to play Basketball? I mean, if we recall Shoyo Hinata from Haikyuu!! he was pretty short but still made his way in the world of volleyball. Teppei Kiyoshi has the heart of an iron. He’s also known as the founder of Seirin Club. He’s also one of the uncrowned kings. Being the founder of the club, he’s always trying to protect his team from any type of danger. Founders are always ready to lose everything for their team members. That’s the beauty of teamwork.

Kazuya Hara

Kazuya Hara is a very carefree person who plays as a forward. He belongs to the Kirisaki Daiichi High. He doesn’t care about anything and is always aiming to make fun of others around him. Kazuya is often seen making jokes. As a member of Kirisaki Daiichi High, he resembles a lot of his team members.
Shuuzou Nijimura

This guy is titled as Azure Dragon and he’s one of the most professional basketball players belonging to Aishin Sea Horses. This is one of the teams in Japan Basketball League. Shuuzou Nijimura used to be the captain of Teiko Junior High. In fact, he has also been a member of Elite Street Basketball group. Since he’s been with big groups, he’s very able.
Wei Liu

As you can already tell from his name, he’s a Chinese player. He doesn’t speak much but when he does, he speaks in a Chinese accent. Since he’s an exchange stduent from China, he’s very dull. Though his tall height helps in playing basketball matches.
Kotaro Hayama

Kotarou Hayama is one of the most energetic players in Rakuzan High. Like Kazuya, he enjoys making fun of other people. He mostly gets yelled at by his team members. Because of his habit to annoy others, he might come off as an annoying person. Kotarou is quite serious about basketball and makes sure to play a match against a strong team.

Taiga Kagami

Taiga Kagami is surely one of the most badass characters in Kuroko’s Basketball. He gets furious easily and he plays basketball in a very serious way. He’s an ace of Seirin High and he doesn’t like when people get in his way, especially Kuroko! Taiga is an ambitious guy who’s very strong whenever a difficult situation hits him. That’s why he’s different from rest of the members. The thing that Taiga Kagami is well-known for is his endless fighting spirit. Even if he’s losing a match, he tries his best to stay focused and to beat his opponents.
Daiki Aomine

Daiki Aomine is also a skillful player. He’s the guy who trained himself and became one of the strongest players of all time. He crushes everyones’ dreams of becoming the very best basketball player. So, if you see Aomine somewhere, you better run. His endless determination is worth-appreciating tho and the power that he holds is second to none!
