When Touko and his husband came to find him, no matter what people said about him, they insisted that he come live with them, and he did.

The shy kid who was scared to cause any trouble or even speak up or ask for anything now has a bright smile on his face. He finally found a real home and got to know what it felt like to have loving parents.

What happened to Kurenai really broke all of us, Naruto fans, hearts. She had finally met the man of her life. She was in love and happy. They got married and were about to start a family when her husband died while she was pregnant with their first daughter.

Now a single mother, she wanted to make sure her daughter, whom she named Mirai, meaning future in Japanese, grew up without ever feeling that something was missing in her life.

Although she was devastated and grieving, she stayed cheerful and strong, believing that this is what her husband would’ve wanted.

Mirai turned out to be just like her mother, kind, strong, cheerful, and responsible. Most importantly, it was obvious that she was happy.

She’s the kind of super cheerful mother that loves to embarrass her son. She pushes him to hit on girls and have fun while remaining a faithful gentleman.

Her intrusiveness in her son’s affairs shows how much he matters to her and how much she loves him. Although it can be annoying at times, no real mother would really be one if she didn’t have that side of her.

She’s sweet and affectionate and an amazing cook who loves to see the smile on her son’s face when she hands him his favorite dishes.

Irisviel von Einzbern is a homunculus, an artificial being created through alchemy, and she is the mother of Illyasviel von Einzbern.

She’s a mesmerizing character with long silver shiny hair and ruby red eyes. Although she can be described as a monster, she is the first of her kind to feel the exact same emotions humans experience.

She acts like an elegant lady, but she possesses a colorful and eccentric soul, plus she acts innocent as a child despite all the wisdom that she has accumulated.

She’s very soft-hearted and extremely strong–physically and mentally–at the same time. She’s the kind of mother that will fulfill her role towards her loved ones no matter what, even if it means giving up on her own happiness, even her own life if necessary. 

 

7. Mito Freecss (Hunter X Hunter)

Out of nowhere, an irresponsible father took a child and just left, leaving his sister to deal with him. Without any kind of hesitation, Mito endorsed the role of a loving mother and raised Gon as her own.

He lived a full and happy life by her side. She got him everything she had and did it with a smile. A perfect mother through and through, she even managed to fluster the cold and emotionless heart of Killua when he came to visit.

When Gon had the chance to hear his real mother’s voice for the first time through a recording, he stopped the tape, saying that his real mother was Mito and that he didn’t need another.

If love were a person, it would undoubtedly be Kurumi. Throughout the entire series, the only feeling she ever displayed was love. Oh and she’s Saiki Kusuo’s mother, if you did get that.

Saiki said to himself that if it weren’t for her, he would have most probably ended up as a bad guy, abusing his powers carelessly. She is the one who taught him to use it only if it was necessary and for good purposes.

In one of the episodes, he used his Favorability Meter to see how much Kurumi loves her husband. She got an incredible number. Then they switched to Kusuo and the number didn’t change.

Saiki was touched but brushed it off, saying it was broken, as if it’s even possible for it to break…

 

5. Ragyō Kiryūin (Kill la Kill)

Okay, so, Ragyō is Satsuki Kiryūin and Ryūko Matoi’s mother. She’s also Revocs Corporation’s CEO and got herself a chair on Honnōji Academy’s board of directors.

She’s the antagonist of the series. To other people, she’s undeniably a real monster, a disgusting and cruel human being.

To her family, however, she’s nothing more and nothing less than the person they love the most in the entire world, their irreplaceable, tender mother.

She’s Momoka Sonokawa’s mom and a person with very very peculiar fetishes. Her appearance is deceiving, she looks and acts all cute, but in reality she’s actually a badass.

She got the best of both of her personalities. She is a great cook, loves to clean, etc… just like any mom, plus she can use a revolver and fire without hesitating.

She’s just so cool and caring and kind, the kind of mom that you can show off to everyone and just be super proud to be her son or her daughter.

You might have believed that Leonara was an awful mother to Alice. However, we were all greatly deceived.

She left her daughter when she learned that she had inherited her ability, God’s tongue. She didn’t want her daughter to go through the horrible life she endured and so went to search for the chef that would make her heart and the heart of her daughter cry with joy.

It was not easy for her to leave her behind. She just believed it was a necessary sacrifice. It shattered her to do so, but she was doing it for Alice.

She was the Queen of the Germa Kingdom and the mother of Sanji and his four siblings. Although she was sickly, she was extremely strong-willed. She was compassionate, empathetic, gentle, and extremely protective of all her children, even though some of them had superpowers.

She was disgusted by the experiments her husband wanted to try on their kids and was determined to stop him. She wanted them to have a normal life and feel like normal humans.

She did everything she could to oppose him and ended up dying in the process.

She was Ann’s mother, and she was suffering from an incurable illness. She knew that her end was near, so she tasked Violet with writing Ann 50 letters from her. Violet would send one of them to her daughter every year for her anniversary.

The woman was terrified to leave her daughter alone and did her best so she could have something to look forward to as she grew older.

Personality-wise, she was adorable, easy-going yet strict when needed, a mother who could turn into a friend on command, graceful and elegant. She wanted her daughter to inherit all her best traits and leave all the bad things to her.

 

Conclusion

As you can see, we have lots and lots of devoted mothers in there. However, there is one misconception about love that we are all missing.

Loving someone means having the strength to live for them. Everybody is just handing over their lives and making it pass as some kind of grand sacrifice while they are leaving their loved ones to suffer behind alone and inconsolable.

If what you desire is to hand over your kid’s happiness on a silver plate, then make sure to be there by their side from the beginning till the very end.
