Sooo, I’ll be talking about suspense manhwa in this blog. I’ll assume that y’all love suspense because you’re here reading this blog.

Suspense is one of the most popular genres. I really love it when the author somehow manages to get you on the edge of your seat. You can’t get too invested in characters cuz you don’t know what will happen to them. It’s just fascinating.

The most exciting thing here is that the storytelling of most suspense manhwa/manga is somewhat slow, but they still manage to keep you interested.

Without any further ado, let’s start the list.

My Student Can’t be a Psychopath is another interesting manhwa that will surely make your heart skip a beat. 

This manhwa follows the story of a nurse, a high school nurse indeed. Well! The main plot follows as the students of this high school tell her that they are psychopaths. However, their actions don’t match their words. It feels like they are hiding something.

The most intriguing thing here is that she feels like the whole school is hiding something huge. What is this secret? Why would they lie? Is something controlling them? There are sooooo many questions.

All of you must have encountered creepy stalkers once in your lifetime, right? Well! They can’t be more creepy than a spirit stalker. Yess! The MC of this manhwa is being stalked by a spirit that resides inside a strange picture.

This marks the beginning of some strange events. The girl also obtains some strange abilities. She uses these abilities to get revenge against her bullies and anyone who annoys her. Well! This is kinda dark.

The plot of this might seem a bit dull on paper, however, it is pretty exciting and kinda dark. You will definitely enjoy it.

 

11- Melo Holic

Well! The main genre of this manhwa is romance. So, if you are a fan of both suspense and romance, then you can’t miss out on this manhwa.

It follows the story of a guy who possesses the unique ability to read people’s minds. The only drawback is that you have to be in contact with that person. One day, he meets a girl who had recently lost her boyfriend. And guess what? He falls in love with her. 

Well! This is how romance works. You suddenly fall in love with someone. I find it quite intriguing. 

 

10- Gui Mo

Gui Mo is one of those manhwas that you can’t just miss. The plot is something else.

This manhwa follows the story of a group of grave diggers. Well! Grave digging is a serious crime. However, these grave diggers are doing it for some hidden treasure.

One day, while digging graves, they encountered some zombies. This is where the fun part begins. They see a zombie that looks exactly like their boss. How is this even possible? Like, he is alive. Who is this imposter, lol!

What is the mystery behind this zombie?

 

09- Rotten

The first suspense manhwa on this list is Rotten, and I really love the title of this manhwa.

It follows the story of a teenager named Jaeshin. Jaeshin has a unique ability. Well! I won’t call it an ability, it’s more like a curse. Jaeshin is capable of seeing the souls of dead people. The other main character in this story is Officer Han.

Officer Han also has a unique ability. He can distinguish whether the soul is good or evil. Pretty fascinating, right? The plot continues as Officer Han and Jaeshin work together to uncover the truth behind the death of their friend. 

The art style is pretty unique. I’m sure you’ll love it.

 

08- #Killstagram

Killstagram is another great addition to this list.

This manhwa follows the story of a girl named Remi. Remi always had a huge dream of getting famous. Little did she know that this dream would become her nightmare.

Remi became quite famous, but instead of bliss, this served as the beginning of her living nightmare. She becomes cautious as a serial killer becomes obsessed with her. He follows her everywhere. She has nowhere to run since, as I’ve said, she is pretty famous.

This manhwa correctly portrays the downside of sharing too much information online.

The art style of this manhwa is pretty amazing too. Not to mention, how much I loved the character development of Remi.

 

07- Vigilante

This manhwa is one of my favorites. I have a very serious question for y’all?

Have you ever thought how justice always favors the rich and it suddenly becomes strict for the poor? Well! It’s this way in most parts of the world.

The world in which the MC of this manhwa lives is this way as well, and the MC wants to change it. I know it’s not that easy to change such things. However, we should atleast try.

The drama aspect of this manhwa is pretty amazing. I really love the action scenes as well. I’m pretty sure you will love it too.

 

06- It’s Mine

Ahhh! This manhwa really is something else. The MC of this manhwa is portrayed as a huge STALKER. Yess! A stalker. The MC, Yohan Do, is obsessed with Dajeong Lee. He follows her everywhere. He knows everything about her, literally everything!

He even takes her pictures. Talk about creepy, ehhh! However, whenever Dajeong is in danger, he would do anything to save her. He can even kill people. Fans really love this part of Yohan, even though he is a stalker.

The author has done an amazing job in keeping the audience interested with various plot twists.

 

05- Devil’s Editing

Devil’s Editing is one of the most underrated Manhwa in my opinion. Peeps are really missing out on it.

It follows the story of an internet broadcaster, and how he got indulged in a murder scandal invloving her editor. The main question here is, who is the real killer? 

We often see such scandals in real life as well. However, the way it is portrayed in this manhwa is just too terrifying. If you are a fan of the true horror genre, then you will definitely love this one.

 

04- Moritat

Another interesting manhwa on this list is Moritat. The main point of this manhwa is the suspense. You can’t guess what’s coming.

It follows the story of a guy named Jesse. Jesse was hospitalized for quite some time. However, when he wakes up, he has no recollection of his past memories. A man tells him that his lover is waiting for him outside.

Ohh! I forgot to mention that the only memory he has is he’s supposed lover trying to kill him. What is he supposed to do? Should he believe the other guy or trust his memory? Interesting, right?

 

03- Death’s Game

Death’s Game is another great manhwa that has earned a spot on this list.

The plot of this manhwa is pretty interesting. It follows the story of a guy named Yijae Choi. Yijae is portrayed as a useless unemployed man. The story continues as we witness his death as he commits suicide. However, the god of death was not pleased with this. She sent him back to the earth in the bodies of other humans.

All of these humans are supposed to die. But, if Yijae manages to save one of them, he can keep the body. Interesting, right? If you are new to the manhwa world, then I suggest you give this manhwa a try. You won’t be disappointed.

 

02- Pigpen

The most interesting aspect of this manhwa is its characters.

It follows the story of a guy who reached a mysterious island after his boat got destroyed in a storm. On the island, he meets a strange family and a girl with a pig head. Kinda weird, right?

The MC thinks that the family is evil. Like, how are they even alive on such an island? On the other hand, the family considers the MC evil. What is the mystery behind this family? The art style of this manhwa isn’t that good. But, as I’ve told ya already, the main thing in this manhwa are the characters.

 

01- Sweet Home

The title of this manhwa might seem a bit wholesome. But, it is the exact opposite.

This manhwa follows the story of a teenager named Hyun Cha. Hyun’s entire family was killed in a car crash. Hyun also wanted to commit suicide. However, his plan failed as a neighbor rang his door bell. 

As he opens the door, he sees that the neighbor’s hand is full of blood. This marks the beginning of a strange event. Hyun later discovers that the entire neighborhood is turning into strange monsters. How will he survive?

If you are a fan of the horror and fantasy genre, then you will definitely love this manhwa.

 

Conclusion

Sooo, here is the blog guys. I’m sure you’ll love all of these manhwa. The thing I love about the suspense genre is the character development. The art style is also pretty decent most of the time. Aaaand since we’re talking about suspense, why not check out thriller manhwas because, well… y’know suspense and thriller can pass as siblings HAHA!
