GANGS. A lot of things come up in your mind when you hear that word. The Yakuza, the Cartel, and even GTA come to mind. But few anime and manga captured the real essence of the culture. However, there is one that stands out. And that series, ladies and gentlemen, is Tokyo Revengers!
Tokyo Revengers was written by Ken Wakui, who was in a gang himself, before he created the series. That just goes to show that this isn’t some passion project by some guy in his garage. Tokyo Revengers was made from real life experience and my oh my, do the gangs here look awesome!
Today, we are giving you the STRONGEST GANGS IN ALL OF TOKYO REVENGERS. From Moebius to the mysterious yet powerful Brahman, we will finally get the answer to the question, “Who is the strongest gang in Tokyo Revengers?”. Crack your knuckles and rev up your engines, because this is one crazy ride!
SPOILERS AHEAD!

Moebius is the first gang that fought against the Tokyo Manji Gang in the entire series. During their first encounter, Moebius, led by Nobutaka Osanai, set up an ambush against Mikey, Pah-Chin, Draken, Pehyan, and Takemichi while they were discussing their strategy. During this first encounter, Pah-Chin was beaten up badly by Osanai. This goes to show that the gang leader, Osanai, was no joke as he was an expert in Boxing (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 15). I wonder if lesser hair means more power in Boxing, look at Mayweather and Saitama. I think that’s why Osanai lost.
During the same encounter, Osanai was stabbed and Shuji Hanma became the temporary leader (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 16). Under the leadership of Hanma, Moebius had an all-out battle against Toman. It goes without saying that Moebius is one of the strongest gangs in Tokyo as they were able to keep up with Toman during their fight (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 23). But compared to the other gangs on this list, they’re just like small fries and would easily be wiped out. It may be two generations older but it sure ain’t stronger.

Valhalla doesn’t only have a cool official name but they also have an awesome nickname, “The Headless Angel”. I would join this gang though just for the drip! All kidding aside, Valhalla’s sole purpose is to destroy the Tokyo Manji Gang but there was already a greater evil lurking within the shadows. After Moebius was defeated, its remnants joined Kazutora Hanemiya and other delinquents to form Valhalla, one of the gangs that would dish out the greatest blow against Toman (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 28).
Their battle against Toman would be known as a day where one of the most brutal fights in Tokyo happened. During the fighting, Kazutora, Chome, and Chonbo were able to knock Mikey out for a good minute (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 54). Compared to Moebius, Valhalla is in a higher rank because it was not only led by Shuji Hanma but also by Kazutora Hanemiya, one of the founders of the Tokyo Manji Gang. After the brawl against the Tokyo Manji Gang, the former 1st Division Captain of Toman, Keisuke Baji, lost his life and greatly affected Toman’s inner trust and fighting power (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 61).
They were on par with Toman at that time and the fight ended with a death and an arrest, it would later be known as “Bloody Halloween”, the day where the big gangs of Tokyo watched as Toman and Valhalla fought like devils (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 64).

If there’s Valhalla then there’s surely Ragnarok. I mean, come on, who’s gonna be the leader of this gang? Thor?
Although Ragnarok seems to have passed on to legend, there is no doubt that this gang was truly a force to be reckoned with. It was under the leadership of Keizo Arashi, one of the founders of the Black Dragons, the gang that ruled all of Japan (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 226)! If that doesn’t say it’s powerful, I don’t know what will.
Ragnarok ruled the entirety of West Kanto and was in a constant stalemate against Kodo Rengo of the East. It was said that their power was compared to that of a titan where their leader, Keizo Arashi, was given the name Red Cliff. This was because he once walked out of a battle covered in crimson blood. It was without a doubt, the biggest gang in Japan in its prime and is on another playing field compared to Valhalla and Moebius (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 226).
8. Kodo Rengo

While Ragnarok ruled the West with an iron fist, to prevent the gang from controlling all of Kanto, a number of small gangs formed an alliance and it would be known as Kodo Rengo. It’s ruled by the White Leopard, Wakasa Imaushi who would also become one of the founders of the Black Dragons alongside Keizo Arashi (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 226).
Just like Valhalla, these guys have some serious drip! They should belong to JoJo. They might have one of the highest teamwork since they were composed of different gangs. You know what they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Because of the threat of Ragnarok, all of East Kanto banded together under a single banner (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 226).
Their power is still no joke as they sent the feud of the two gangs into a stalemate. Wakasa, their leader, used speed, agility, and precision as his main weapon and could go toe-to-toe against Keizo Arashi (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 226).
7. Brahman

Brahman should be called Black Dragons Jr.. No matter how you look at it, their tactics, their creed, and even their members were derived from the 1st Generation of the Black Dragons. Not only do their structures follow the Black Dragons but their reputation as well.
Brahman was known as the strongest gang that hid in the shadows during Tokyo’s Sengoku era. They were able to control a large part of Tokyo and stood on par against Rokuhara Tandai and the Kantou Manji Gang (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 208).
Their leader isn’t a push-over either. Senju Kawaragi (BEST WAIFUUUU!!!) was known as the Unrivalled and was an expert in athletic attacks that required immense speed and accuracy. She was able to not only deal critical hits to the leader of Rokuhara Tandai once, but twice where she released her full potential and knocked him out for a good second (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 212, 229). But why are they ranked below Rokuhara Tandai? You’ll get to know next!
6. Rokuhara Tandai

Rokuhara Tandai is probably one of the gangs that have the most firepower. If Brahman is like an assassin, then Rokuhara Tandai would be a tank. Durable yet their fighting power will blow you away. All of their members including South Terano, a man who once ruled a gang in Brazil, and the Executives of Tenjiku, are all renowned fighters. (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 208).
During the all-out war of the three deities, Rokuhara Tandai, Brahman, and the Kanto Manji Gang had a three way brawl. South Terano channelled in his inner darkness (like some light-sabre wielding padawan killer we all know) and beated Senju Kawaragi in her ultimate form (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 231).
Sadly, even though they have overwhelming strength, they were defeated by the Kantou Manji Gang’s leader, Manjiro Sano. South Terano was beaten to death even though he was at the peak of his strength (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 233).
5. Black Dragons

There’s no doubt that the Black Dragons deserved this spot. Their history and their legacy influenced the entire story of Tokyo Revengers and the goals of several big gangs including the Tokyo Manji Gang. Shincihiro Sano, even though he couldn’t fight, was able to unite Kodo Rengo and Ragnarok and control the entirety of Japan and Tokyo (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 109).
Keizo Arashi, Wakasa Imaushi, Takeomi Akashi, and Shinichiro Sano. These four who ruled the Black Dragons became legendary figures among all of the gangs (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 213). Even the next generations, especially those ruled by Taiju Shiba and Takemichi Hanagaki were fairly strong and went on to achieve success.
The Black Dragons stagnated throughout the years that’s why it didn’t reach the 2nd spot. The Black Dragons in their 1st Generation were like Goku in his prime. They always ruled with a smile but could beat you until you got Isekai-d if you fought against them. This Black Dragons under Shinichiro Sano became the strongest but will it reach its prime once more under Takemichi?
4. Tenjiku

This gang would be the Akatsuki in Naruto. Tenjiku was ruled over by Izana Kurokawa and decimated the entire Tokyo Manji Gang in one attack, where both Draken, Mikey, and the Division Captains except Takemichi weren’t in any condition to fight. (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 149). At the same time, Izana Kurokawa, the only one who fought on equal terms with Mikey, laid waste to every gang in Tokyo (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 153).
Tenjiku isn’t only strong because of their leaders, but every executive was on another level. They had the Four Heavenly Kings which were composed of the S62 Generation also known as the Generation of Brutality. (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 156). If Mikey didn’t recover, Takemichi would have been killed and Izana Kurokawa would have held Japan in the palm of his hands.
Despite being overwhelming in Power, Teamwork, and Endurance they were defeated after a blunder by Kisaki Tetta (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 177). If not for that, Tenjiku would have consumed the Tokyo Manji Gang and evolved into something that personified evil.
3. Bonten

If Tenjiku was evil, then Bonten would be hell. Tenjiku is like when someone doesn’t eat pizza crust, but Bonten would be someone eating cereal and then drinking milk while mixing it in their mouth. In every future, Bonten caused the deaths of a lot of popular characters.
Bonten was composed of the S62 Generation, Akashi Takeomi, and some former members of the Black Dragons and Toman. They were ruthless and didn’t give any mercy to traitors (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 196). They aren’t like Moebius and Valhalla, these guys aren’t afraid to kill and even dominated the underworld against the Yakuza.
Bonten is led by Manjiro Sano where he is constantly surrounded by Darkness. Mikey was now ruthless and didn’t even hesitate in killing Takemichi (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 202). My guys straight up went “Bang, Bang!”. In this gang, Manjiro Sano became the devil himself.
2. Kantou Manji Gang

Remember Brahman and Rokuhara Tandai who were part of the 3 deities? Well, in that three-way brawl, this gang came on top, the Kantou Manji Gang. This gang was also led by Manjiro Sano after the Tokyo Manji Gang disbanded and was known as the one that emerged victorious during Tokyo’s Sengoku Period (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 234).
The Kantou Manji Gang was responsible for the dissolvement of both Brahman and Rokuhara Tandai. Because of that fight, South Terano was killed by Mikey and Takemichi Hanagaki was beaten to death’s door (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 235). I don’t know how you can beat someone to death but don’t try that kids! Follow Naruto and use talk-no-jutsu instead.
The Kantou Manji Gang emerged as the behemoth and really deserved their nickname the “Invincible”. With Mikey alone, he was able to end the entire war and killed South Terano, who made Draken and the legendary duo of the Black Dragons kneel (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 211, 228).

The Unrivalled, the Unparalleled, the Invincible, these words mean nothing to this gang. We all knew they were gonna come out on top. Even their vice-captains were strong enough to defeat several Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 163). It is without a doubt, that if they didn’t disband, they would have ruled Japan in an instant.
Even with several captains out of action, the Tokyo Manji Gang was able to come back against all the odds in their fight against Tenjiku (Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 177). In full force, with the Division Captains and Vice-Captains complete, The Tokyo Manji Gang would instantly knock out all the competitors in this list. Even if it was Takemichi, who had no fighting abilities, he was able to stand his ground and give Tenjiku and the Black Dragons enough trouble (Tokyo Revengers Manga Chapter 107, 166).
There is no doubt in my mind, even if you tie me to a tree that the Tokyo Manji Gang is the number one strongest gang in all of Tokyo Revengers! They are the only ones who can stop Mikey and carry on the will of Shinichiro Sano.
CONCLUSION

There you have it, my beautiful weebs! We now have an answer to the question, who is the strongest gang in all of Tokyo Revengers. From the early antagonists known as Moebius, to the ones that crawled through each challenge, the Tokyo Manji Gang, Tokyo Revengers has shown that each group has their own strengths and weaknesses.
You might have noticed a pattern and to make things clear, in the words of Kazutora Hanemiya, “IT WAS ALL MIKEY’S FAULT!”.
