Yet, at the same time, it is very similar to Overgeared. The plot resemblance with Overgeared is because fate suddenly plays favourites with Seol Jihu, just like Shing Jungwoo. He gains a unique power that no one has seen before. And Jihu will use this power for his survival.

Do you want a binge read with developments that would make you feel fresh? Here you go, SSS-Class Revival Hunter is an entertaining manhwa, and it quickly gets a 10/10 for its plot. It is very similar to Overgeared in terms of MCs and their development.

It quickly made its way to the top of my recommendation list. The protagonist, Kim, envies all the hunters in the game world they live in. He is desperate to become one at all costs. And guess what? Fate picks him up as its favourite.

He is given a chance to become the SSS-Class Hunter at the cost of his life. However, the greater the price, the greater the reward! Kim is revived with the ability to copy anyone’s abilities. Woah! That is some classy power, yet it takes wits to use it, and Kim is up for it all. This manhwa will keep you hooked till the end… I mean till the latest chapter.

 

10- Kill the Dragon

But nah! That would be too ordinary, no? Even in his second life, he has nothing, and still, he is struggling to survive. You are in for a lot of action and a power-packed manhwa with a unique hero. He has nothing but his unbreakable will, and I guess that’s all you need.

 

07- Doom Breaker

“Doom Breaker” is a masterpiece that became a tough competition to many other manhwa in terms of plot, art, and character development. Zephyr is the critical focus in this manhwa. Like Shin from Overgeared, Zephyr is unfathomably strong with destructive powers.

When he dies at the hands of the God of Destruction, the end befalls humanity. However, Zephyr earned a chance as a reward and woke up ten years before all the havoc.

Oh dang! Guess fate didn’t give him a bonus. He wakes up as an enslaved person rather than the most powerful human. The manhwa revolves around Zephyr’s journey from scratch. However, whether he defeats the God of destruction or not is a mystery yet to be revealed. So if you want to know, then why wait?

Man! I just love to be a part of their struggling journey. Gong Won was a target of envy, and he lost his rank as the top player. However, he is not a loser. Gong has a strong will to find the ones who made him lose his position, and for that, he is determined to start from scratch; as the lowest level player.

 

05- The Lone Necromancer

The story follows somewhat Overgeared’s path when one-day, Seongwu is given a choice to select a role because the world is about to change. He selects to become a Necromancer. Now, it’s only monsters and deadly beings, and for survival, one has to kill them, obviously.

But what is Seongwu’s ability? Guys, I tell you, he is a monster himself because now he can control the undead and create an army of his own. So, monsters run for your life, lol.

He is shunned by the villagers, disheartened, and depressed. When he comes of age, he runs away. I mean, I would do the same. But he never knew that his ability to read the thoughts and memories of people and animals would open a world for him that he had never imagined.

His growth as a human and his bonds with people is something you must not miss. Plus, the power element is top-notch. However, the story has just started, so you can expect much more.

The growth story of a loser, weakling, trashy kid always makes it to the top, like how it made its way to the top of my list of manhwa like Overgeared. Our protagonist, Park Nao, is the one having all these attributes I mentioned earlier.

Nevertheless, reality and VR are not the same. Park Nao is determined to prove that all the said titles don’t make him what people think. He will become the best of the best players, and his journey is worth the read.

Everything about the character development, action, power, and plot is on point, so don’t miss it, fellas!
