Sooo, in this blog, we are gonna talk about My Hero Academia ships. Just in case, you have been living under a rock and you don’t know anything about MHA, I’ll tell you a bit about this anime.

This anime follows the story of a teenager named Izuku Midoriya. Izuku lives in a world in which people have special abilities called Quirks. Some people use these abilities for evil and some for good. However, there are also people who don’t have any quirks and our MC is one of them. Born without a quirk, Izuku still wishes to become a hero like his idol, All Might, and protect people from villains. 

I think you got the basic idea here, so I won’t spoil you any further. In this list, we are going to talk about MHA ships. We all know that there are some canon couples that the author has made. However, there are some non-canon ships as well that fans made up. So, let’s get into it!

 

BEST MY HERO ACADEMIA COUPLES

 

32. Mineta X Tsuyu

Hmmm! This ship is a bit controversial. Mineta is the most hated character in MHA. Why do peeps hate him? Well! Because he’s clearly addicted to the girls. 

Every anime has a guy like him. But, the way Mineta is portrayed in this anime is kinda disgusting to most peeps. Soo, why ship him with Tsuyu? Well! Out of all the girls, he is particularly close to Tsuyu. Both of them are pretty good friends. And this ship is somewhat possible in the anime.

 

31. Iida X Momo

Finally a ship for our favorite boy Iida. He’s like a robot. He is a perfectionist. Iida is one of the most hardworking students in all of U.A High. 

If we’re going to rank the boys of class 1-A based on intelligence, this guy would rank in top 3. So, him and Momo are a pretty good match. Both of them love discipline and love doing things in order. I personally like this ship a lot. I hope that you’ll respect my opinion.

 

30. Uraraka X Toga

This ship is also pretty odd. How would these two make a good couple? They are basically enemies. 

The only thing they have in common is that both of them like Deku. They can just talk about Deku all day long, lol! But then, they won’t have time for each other. For fans, this is the sole reason to ship them. 

Waitt! I just forgot, Toga has confessed to Uraraka that she loves her. Well! Toga basically loves everyone, lol!

 

29. Kirishima X Todoroki

Another interesting ship on this list. This ship is attacked often by Bakugou X Kirishima fans. They believe that Kirishima belongs to Bakugou, lol!

The main thing that makes this ship possible is the fact that both these characters have a lot of similarities. Both of them are strong, intelligent, and hard-working. 

 

28. Bakugou X Momo

Let’s just talk about a potential ship. Well! Most peeps don’t like this couple. They say that both of them are not suitable for each other. 

Well! If we are gonna argue whether or not they are suitable or not, then I can give you some points. 

Bakugo is the type of guy who gets angry at the slightest of things. On the other hand, Momo remains calm in most situations. Sooo, Momo can just handle Bakugo’s anger issues easily. Both of them are considered the best in their class. Isn’t it the cherry on top?

 

27. Dabi X Himiko

Ahhh! A full villain ship on this list. We haven’t seen many villain ships, have we?

Dabi, despite being a villain, is loved by fans all around the globe. Why? Well! He is pretty badass. And his quirk is also cool or should I say, FIRE. If we want to rank MHA characters on the basis of hotness, then this guy would definitely make the top 5. 

On the other hand, we know that Himiko has a huge crush on Deku. But, that ship doesn’t seem quite possible. So, fans came up with an alternate ship. And this ship is pretty badass in my opinion.

 

26. Hatsume X Iida

This is our boy Iida’s 2nd ship on this list. Well! In my opinion, Hatsume makes a great couple with Deku. But, this ship is also pretty cute.

Hatsume is the type of girl who can make people do whatever she wants. On the other hand, Iida is the type of nice guy who is always there to help others. Lmaooo! This reason is not valid enough to ship them. 

 

25. Bakugou X Sero

Hmmm, we haven’t featured Hanta Sero on this list yet. Soo, here we are.

Bakugou and Sero are pretty close friends. Like Kirishima, Sero knows Bakugou pretty well. He is always supporting him. It can be seen on multiple occasions. On the other hand, Bakugou also considers Sero a close comrade. 

I personally think they’d make a great couple.

 

24. All Might X Inko

This list is just incomplete without All Might, right? All Might is the best character in MHA in my opinion. And he deserves all the love in the world.

You can basically ship All Might with anyone. But, the one ship that fans particularly love is All Might X Inko. Inko is Deku’s mother. This just makes this ship even more interesting. Why? Well! All Might is like a father to Deku. He has done so much for him throughout the whole series. 

It just makes sense, right?

 

23. Denki X Shinso

Another interesting ship on this list. Shinso is one of those characters that you just can’t hate. His quirk is also pretty unique and has a lot of potential. 

Well! These characters haven’t interacted that much in the anime. However, fans think that they’d make a good couple as both of them are pretty cute. The reasoning here is definitely kinda off, lol!

Let’s just hope this becomes canon. 

 

22. Deku X Hatsume

Another ship that is immensely loved by fans all around the globe. 

Deku often visits Mei whenever he wants to upgrade his equipment. And their interactions are usually sooo funny. This is perhaps the only reason why fans ship them.Another important thing here is that both of them have opposite personalities. Mei is also immensely talented in making tools. I’m sure they’d make a great couple.

 

21. Deku X Mina

Another interesting ship on this list. Well! All ships are not meant to be realistic. This ship has one of the least possibilities to become canon. But, that doesn’t stop fans from shipping them.

And isn’t this ship the cutest? I mean, both of them are a perfect match for each other. Both of them are cute, funny, enthusiastic about their goal, and of course, they give the same vibe. As for now, they are just friends. But, we can’t say anything about the future, lol! 

I just love the way both of them support each other even though they aren’t that close. This just makes this ship even more perfect.

 

20. Toru X Ojiro

This ship is also pretty well-known among fans. It is a bit weird though. Why? The quirks both of them possess are kinda weird. 

You basically can’t see Toru. On the other hand, Ojiro’s quirk is a big tail. We have seen Toru playing with Ojiro’s tail. And guess what? Ojiro’s always embarrassed in front of Toru. It is indeed kinda funny because he hasn’t even seen her. It is somewhat wholesome as well.

Nevertheless, this ship is pretty cute.

 

19. Eraserhead X Present Mic

A ship regarding teachers, isn’t it amazing? I used to ship my teachers, lol!

Both of these characters are the polar opposite of each other. Present Mic has too much energy, on the other hand, Eraserhead has no energy at all. The only thing that makes this ship valid is the fact that Eraserhead can withstand Present Mic’s loud voice even though he hates it. 

Both of them are great teachers and have served U.A High School for a long time. So, they have known each other for quite a long period now and they were even classmates before. They just know how to handle each other.

 

18. Midnight X Aizawa

It’s time for character introductions I guess. Both Aizawa and Midnight are teachers at U.A High School. Aizawa is the in-charge of class 1-A.

Both of them are pretty popular and fans just can’t resist shipping them together. Well! They are the polar opposites of each other. Midnight is pretty cheerful and full of energy. On the other hand, Aizawa is always sleepy, lol!

I guess you all have heard this phrase, “Opposites attract each other”, right? This ship is the perfect example of that. What are your opinions on this ship? In my opinion, they make a great couple.

 

17. Kyoka X Mina

Now, this ship is not about our MC. This is about one of the most loved side characters, Kyoka and Mina. 

If you have just started watching MHA, then you’d notice that both of these characters can be seen together a lot of times. For most peeps, they are just good friends or best friends at most. However, for MHA fans, this is a sign of love. Fascinating, isn’t it?

Both of them are quite supportive and have always tried to help each other. Kyoka might seem like an introvert, but when she’s with Mina, she can express her feelings pretty easily. That just makes this ship even more promising. 

 

16. Mt. Lady X Midnight

Another amazing ship regarding teachers. Well! Mount Lady is not a teacher at U.A. She is a pro hero. And peeps just love her. Her quirk is also amazing, hehehe!

The thing that makes this ship amazing is the fact that both of them hate each other, lol! They always start fighting whenever they see each other. Their chemistry is just awful. You might be wondering, then why are they on this list? Well! The answer is simple. Fans love to ship them. 

Their ship is just too popular. This alone guarantees this ship a spot on this list. Amazing, right?

 

15. Eraserhead X Ms. Joke

Another ship for our favorite sensei, Eraserhead. Eraserhead’s personality makes it pretty difficult to ship him with someone. Ms. Joke is one of the characters who’d make a perfect couple with him.

The fun fact here is that she has proposed to Eraserhead to marry her, lol! You don’t see this pretty often, do you? 

Here is another fun fact. Most of the ships on this list are of the type, “Opposites attract each other”, thus this ship is also one of them. I wish we could see more of Ms. Joke, as she appeared in only one arc.

 

14. Todoroki X Bakugou

Another amazing ship on this list. Most peeps think that Bakugou and Todoroki don’t make a good couple as they are not compatible. Bakugou used to hate Todoroki because of his personality. But, as the series went on, we can clearly see that both of them got pretty close.

Another reason why he hates him is because Todoroki held back against him during the tournament finals. Bakugou wanted to fight him for real, lol! Both of them also attended the license classes.

 

13. Momo X Jirou

Ahhhh! Another amazing ship on this list. This couple is also loved by fans a lot. Jirou is your typical introvert. She doesn’t really interact with most people.

However, she is really close to Momo. Momo has one of the best quirks in my opinion. And she is a great cook as well, making her the best waifu, lol!

Both of them are pretty close. You can say that they are best friends along with Mina. Momo always motivates Jirou to do things she feels hesitant about doing. This thing alone makes them a great couple. What do you guys think?

 

12. Bakugo X Uraraka

Now, some fans might hate me for this. But, this ship is real fellas. 

I know there are real signs in the manga and anime that Ochaco has a huge crush on Midoriya. But, we can’t ignore the fact that both Bakugo and Uraraka look too cute together. 

But, what about Bakugou? What does he think? Well! Fans just can’t forget that moment when Bakugo didn’t hold back against Ochaco. Well! Isn’t that kinda unfair? It was because he saw Ochaco’s determination and decided to respect it. This was the starting point of their ship.

 

11. Deku X Tsuyu

Another couple that isn’t quite canon. If I were to rank these ships purely on the basis of cuteness, then this ship would definitely make the top. But, we have to consider other factors as well.

We all know Tsuyu is the type of girl who would never show her true feelings. However, whenever she is with Deku, we can see her blush sometimes. Not too much though!

Deku even saved her when she was drowning. This just makes their ship even cuter. Am I right? 

Most peeps don’t like this ship because Tsuyu is a close friend of Ochacho and knowing her feelings, she would never betray her. So, this ship is a big no for some fans. 

 

10. Uraraka X Tsuyu

Another amazing ship on this amazing list, lol! Isn’t it kinda weird to call your own list awesome?

Nevertheless, this ship also has a lot of supporters. The main thing here is that these girls are best buddies. Tsuyu just always knows what Uraraka is thinking. They share a lot of similarities. Both of them are kind-hearted and pure. 

In terms of loyalty and friendship, you can just never beat these two. You’d definitely want a friend like Tsuyu or Uraraka in your life.

 

9. Deku X Himiko

Himiko Toga is one of the most popular villains in MHA. 

The main point here is that she has had a crush on Deku since the day she saw him. She also knows that Uraraka has a crush on Deku. This makes things kinda interesting, right? 

But, in my opinion, this ship is not potentially possible in the anime. But, we can just talk about it. 

 

8. Bakugou X Deku

Once again, If you have been living under a rock and you don’t know who Deku is, then you deserve a beating, lmaoo!

Deku is basically the hero name of our MC, Izuku Midoriya. I guess I should introduce the characters as well. Katsuki Bakugou is Deku’s childhood friend and his main rival throughout the whole series. For some reason, the fans love to ship these two. I mean, I get it that both of them are childhood friends and rivals, but still! 

If you look at their relationship at the beginning of the series, Bakugou used to bully Deku. His attitude changed a lot as the series progressed. Still! This doesn’t change the fact that he has bullied Deku. There are plus points as well. Bakugo has been the one who has motivated Deku to do his best. 

 

7. Deku X Todoroki

Another one of my favorite ships. Todoroki is the type of character that you can’t possibly hate. He is just too cute and goofy, lol! But, when he gets serious, he can kill you.

Now, the main thing here is how are they a good couple? Well! Deku was the one who motivated Todoroki to use his second quirk during the tournament, even though they were fighting. This just shows how much Deku cares about him. The ship basically began after this fight. Before this, Todoroki wasn’t that popular. 

Both of them have also worked together during their work studies. This just makes this ship even more amazing.

 

6. Tamaka X Mirio

Ahhh! This ship was bound to make this list. This list is incomplete without this ship.

For Tamaka, Mirio is the greatest hero. Mirio has saved Tamaka on multiple occasions. Mirio is an inspiration for him and they look pretty cute together. Their personalities are the polar opposite. As I’ve already said, “Opposites attract each other”. This ship is the one of the perfect examples of this. 

Tamaka is your typical introvert, while Mirio is a huge extrovert. These two characters are also fan favorites. You just can’t hate this ship.

 

5. Bakugo X Kirishima

This ship is my personal favorite. I just love their chemistry. 

As I have already told you, Bakugou is the type of guy who doesn’t trust people easily. He doesn’t even trust his childhood friend, Midoriya, lol!

However, Kirishima is the only person he can trust his life with. Isn’t it just amazing? Spoiler Alert: When Bakugou was kidnapped, Midoriya suggested that Kirishima should be the one saving Bakugou because it would make him feel less miserable. 

On the other hand, Kirishima also trusts Bakugou a lot. He has been following him since the beginning of the series. He knows that Bakugou is a big softie on the inside. He also knows how to manipulate him, lol! This ship is one of the bests on this list.

 

4. Kirishima X Mina

This ship is kinda canon. How? Well! You can see this clearly in anime and manga. The way they talk to each other, Kirishima has a clear crush on Mina. It’s just too obvious, lol!

And the fact that both of them have known each other for soo long makes this ship even more official. Both of them share the same vibe. They are overprotective of their friends, both of them want to get stronger, and both of them are quite energetic.I am a huge fan of this ship. Sooo! Kirishima X Mina rules!! I mean, you just can’t hate them, right?

 

3. Kaminari X Jirou

If you are a huge fan of My Hero Academia, then you must know about this ship. Kaminari X Jirou is one of the most popular ships. And their relationship has developed a lot throughout the series.

Both of them share the same vibe. Most of the comedy moments of the series revolve around them. This alone makes them a great couple. They can also be seen together most of the time and their quirks are also kinda similar.  Both of them are kind of overprotective. I seriously love their chemistry. I wish I had something like this in my life as well!

 

2. Todoroki X Momo

Oufff! The temperature is going up, I guess. This couple is the hottest in all of MHA. Not because Todoroki has a fire quirk. 

Todoroki X Momo is one of the most loved couples. They are the best match for each other. Both of them are top students, they are strong, and kinda independent. If we are talking about popularity, then you can’t beat this ship. I believe they can beat any ship on this list, except for one.

 

1. Deku X Uraraka

Now, this is an official ship. It is kinda canon. The author has given clear hints that Uraraka has a crush on Deku and vice versa. It all started when Deku saved Uraraka from the giant robot at the entrance exam, even though he did not know how to control his power. Uraraka admires Deku because he works so hard to achieve his goal. She wants to become like him. Isn’t this love? 

Deku also blushes whenever he’s around Uraraka. If you are a true MHA fan, then you must’ve noticed this. In my opinion, this is the best ship. You can hate me for it, lol!

 

Conclusion

Soooo here is the list fellas. I hope you enjoyed the ride. Most of the ships on this list are non-canon and are fan-made. 

MHA fans are pretty well-known for their shipping skills, lol!
