Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, as its name suggests, is the most BIZARRE anime series out there. It gets outrageously strange sometimes and at times, it gets awfully sad (CAESAAAARR!! If you get the reference)
Today, we’ll be talking about the OFFICIAL Zodiac Signs of some of the characters of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. So, without further ado, let’s start our bizarre ride!
Aries (March 21 ~ April 20)
Koichi Hirose (March 28, 1984)
Koichi Hirose is one of the main characters in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Koichi has a very friendly and welcoming personality. He’s extremely polite and gentle towards strangers and is always up for helping anyone in need.
Koichi is calm most of the time but loses it when he gets angry. He’s a completely different person when somebody angers him. We see some serious character development with him in the series and that’s how he becomes even more likeable! He often acts cowardly but when push comes to shove, he’s always ready to devote himself to helping his friends.
Jonathan Joestar (April 4, 1868)
Jonathan Joestar is our OG BEST BOY. Seriously, there’s nobody as inherently kind and good as Jonathan. He’s the real gentleman. As a child, Jonathan lacked manners. He was just like every other child. But his father always told him that he must behave like a true gentleman in front of everyone. He grew up and became a true gentleman indeed.
Jonathan doesn’t have in him to hurt anybody, even if it’s his enemy, Dio. He’s extremely kind and has a positive outlook towards life. Jonathan is highly emotional and cares deeply for his loved ones. He has a strong sense of justice and is always there to help others.
Giorno Giovanna (April 16, 1985)
Giorno Giovanna is the main character of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. Giorno had a tough childhood. He was very lonely. He could’ve become a twisted person but he turned himself into a very confident and gentle individual. He’s mostly quiet and rarely smiles.
One can’t really tell what he’s thinking. One thing we’re sure about Giorno is that he’s very kind towards others. He won’t ignore anyone who needs some help. He also cares deeply for his friends and saves them from trouble most of the time. He’s not the one who has it in him to abandon his friends no matter what.
Taurus (April 21 ~ May 20)
Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli (May 13, 1918)
Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli is a serious man who is always pumped to fight. He became one of the most violent delinquents as he and his siblings were abandoned by his father. But when he was saved by his father at the cost of his life, Caesar’s attitude changed and he calmed down a bit.
He started taking pride in his family and became an honorable man. I wish we could see more of him in the anime but… Anyway, let’s stop right here!
Narancia Ghirga (May 20, 1983)
We have another best boy in the house, Narancia Ghirga! He’s one of the allies of Giorno Giovanna in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures: Golden Wind. Rough and reckless, Narancia is a pure definition of an airhead.
He’s shown to be very childish and rarely gets serious. He’s quick to respond to things and doesn’t hold back his reaction, he can’t really control it.
Even though Narancia is very immature and violent, he knows when to get serious. He’s also very sweet to his allies.
Gemini (May 21 ~ June 20)
Trish Una (June 8, 1985)
We rarely get to see any women in JJBA. Trish is one of the women in JJBA who is very interesting. She’s introduced as a spoiled brat, who is selfish and likes to spend money as it grows on trees.
Her spoiled personality is actually just a facade to hide her insecurities. In reality, Trish has no confidence in herself. However, as she spends more time with her allies, she grows into a more confident woman who has no self-doubts. She’s also very loyal to her team members.
Enrico Pucci (June 5, 1972)
Enrico Pucci is the main antagonist of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. He’s a true fanatic. Though he used to be a good and kind-hearted man before, his personality changed after a tragic event.
One of the weird habits of Pucci includes him counting prime numbers when he’s in trouble. According to him, counting prime numbers calms him down. Strange, isn’t it? Pucci is absolutely ruthless under the mask of a kind priest. He’s twisted, menacing and strong.
Weather Report (June 5, 1972)
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure has a bunch of weird characters and Weather Report is one of them, undoubtedly. He’s shown to be very eccentric, quiet and mysterious. Even though he rarely expresses himself, he has a strong sense of justice.
Weather Report has no sense of personal space and tends to get really close to the person he’s talking to. He mostly acts as a ghost because he literally looks dead inside. There’s a reason behind him acting like that which we can’t reveal yet. Gotta save you guys from the spoilers!
Cancer (June 21 ~ July 20)
Erina Pendleton (July, 1869)
Erina Pendleton is our OG heroine from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: The Phantom Blood. She’s super sweet, caring and a true waifu material. She knows her manners and is a proper lady that the people from Victorian England loved.
Erina loved Jonathan Joestar with all her heart. She was devastated when Dio Brando kissed her just to piss off Jonathan. We see her cleaning her mouth immediately from dirty water which was a massive slap on Dio’s face. That’s how strong her character is. She’s just not an average meek girl. She’s quite strong-willed and loyal. Even after Jonathan disappeared, she waited for him and eventually got married to him.
Leo (July 23 ~ August 22)
Noriaki Kakyoin (July 28)
Noriaki Kakyoin is one of the allies of Jotaro Kujo in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. Kakyoin is a true gentleman. He’s kind to everyone. Though he might be blunt sometimes, he keeps it easy with his allies.
Kakyoin is a highly righteous man and absolutely ruthless with his enemies. He shows no mercy towards them. He often appears cold and proud. However, he speaks very softly with his friends and the ones he cares about. Kakyoin is also very knowledgeable about most things, especially stands.
Virgo (August 23 ~ September 22)
Funny Valentine (September 20, 1847)
Funny Valentine is the main antagonist of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run. He’s the 23rd president of the United States. He’s a true patriot, but an immoral one. He wants to make the United States extremely prosperous, even if it means he has to use underhanded methods. He shows himself as a dignified man but manga readers know very well what kind of a man he is!
Funny Valentine doesn’t really care about his subordinates and does not hesitate to sacrifice them if it benefits him. He’s a ruthless man who shows no mercy to anyone who questions his motives. We also get to see his careful and calculated side when he’s fighting.
Libra (September 23 ~ October 22)
Joseph Joestar (September 27, 1920)
Joseph Joestar is the OG Chad that you either love or hate. There’s no in between. Initially, he was shown to be a very hot-headed and violent man who was quick to react. He’s always ready to fight with anyone and doesn’t hold back his anger at all.
Other than being rough and violent, Joseph has a playful side to him. He loves fooling around and annoying people on purpose. He’s also extremely flirty and can’t settle on a single woman. That explains his affair with Tomoko Higashikata.
In terms of tactics, he’s extremely overpowered. He tends to get out of sticky situations with minimal effort. He became focused and careful when he had to fight Kars and his subordinates. He tends to outsmart his enemies.
Joseph is shown to be very caring towards his family, especially his grandmother, Erina. He also respects Speedwagon whom he considers as his father.
Robert E.O Speedwagon (October 16, 1863)
Speedwagon is an ally of Jonathan Joestar and Joseph Joestar in their respective parts. He’s actually a hoodlum who has created his own foundation named “The Speedwagon Foundation”. He appears to be a very righteous man with a strong sense of justice.
He’s an extremely loyal man and has vowed to Jonathan Joestar that he will protect his bloodline. He’s also very courteous and takes good care of the people who are close to him. The name “Speedwagon” will be in every part of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure because he’s literally EVERYWHERE.
Speedwagon gets anxious easily and worries a lot. He’s also quick to react to things and gets angry easily. When he’s fighting, he gives his all. He never hesitates to get himself in trouble to save his friends.
Scorpio (October 23 ~ November 22)
Dio Brando (November 1868)
Dio Brando is the reason behind all the bizarre adventures that our heroes had to go through. HE’S THE REASON BEHIND IT ALL.
Dio has a very unpleasant personality. Though he might appear to be very charming and attractive, he’s rotten to the core. Manipulative, selfish, ruthless and power-hungry, Dio is the perfect villain you’d ever come across.
He will not hesitate to kill anyone who comes in his way. He was able to manipulate a whole lot of people because of his natural charisma and caused trouble for our heroes.
Sagittarius (November 23 ~ December 22)
Guido Mista (December 3, 1982)
Guido Mista is one of the allies of Giorno Giovanna from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. Just like Narancia, Mista is also one of the least serious members of the team. He’s rough and quick to react to things.
Mista doesn’t take care of his hygiene which Trish finds disgusting. He’s a simple individual who doesn’t demand a lot of maintenance. However, his simplicity often makes him look like an idiot. He also doesn’t have any manners and lives his life as a carefree individual.
Jean Pierre Polnareff (December, 1965)
Yes, he’s the person with that weird hair. Polnareff is one of the allies of Jotaro Kujo in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. He has a strong sense of honor and that is one of his most remarkable traits.
Initially, Polnareff came out as arrogant. But he mellowed down when he got comfortable with the rest of his group members. He has a playful and non-serious personality. He’s the one who tends to joke around the most out of all of his group members
Capricon (December 22 ~ January 19)
Will Anthonio Zeppeli (January 19, 1838)
Will Anthonio Zeppeli is one of the allies of Jonathan Joestar in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: The Phantom Blood. He’s a Ripple Master who is fearless and eccentric.
He’s a self-righteous person who believes in equality. He will never ignore his friends who are in trouble. His death had been predicted at the start of the series by Tonpetty and he remains unfazed because of it. He bravely devotes his life to Jonathan Joestar.
Aquarius (January 20 ~ February 19)
Kira Yoshikage (January 30th, 1966)
Kira Yoshikage is the main antagonist of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Diamond is Unbreakable. He’s an extremely twisted individual who hates unwanted attention and can go to extreme lengths in order to keep his identity hidden.
He can’t control his murderous impulses. His targets are mainly defenceless women who can’t protect themselves. He wants to live a peaceful life but our heroes won’t let him live the kind of life he wants. SERVES HIM RIGHT!
Pisces (February 20 ~ March 20)
